In writing and typography, a ligature occurs where two or more graphemes or letters are joined to form a single glyph. Examples are the characters æ and œ used in English and French, in which the letters 'a' and 'e' are joined for the first ligature and the letters 'o' and 'e' are joined for the second ligature. For stylistic and legibility reasons, 'f' and 'i' are often merged to create 'fi' (where the tittle on the 'i' merges with the hood of the 'f'); the same is true of 's' and 't' to create 'st'. The common ampersand (&) developed from a ligature in which the handwritten Latin letters 'e' and 't' (spelling et, Latin for 'and') were combined.
I'm looking for a reputable and reliable FFL / Dealer to transfer an AR Pistol and lower in and around the Seattle / Tukwilla region. Looking for good price and ease of process. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance
Interested in fee's paid to have your FFL mail a handgun for you. I am looking at total cost to send a gun to a buyer. In Washington, so I guess I have to use a WA based ( Vancouver ) FFL. I asked one local Pawn shop and they were going to charge me a transfer fee plus mailing cost.
Looking for list of Type 07 FFL retailers who sell complete lowers and would be able to assemble a customers upper to a purchased complete lower and transfer the assembly as a rifle?
Would FFL dealers be unburdened from most of restrictions that were proposed in IP43? Which restrictions would they have still been subject too? For example could FFL holders in Oregon still purchase firearms banned by IP43 and use them for personal use?
Are the feds cracking down on kitchen...
not sure where to post this but made a private sale today at tropic pawn for ffl transfer and asked them what they knew about 1639 , so as of the first tropic will raise their fee to $29 and once 1639 takes hold the state will charge up to $25 as well ,

Hello I am new resident (and new member of this forum) and I had a few questions regarding the current background check requirments in WA state law. A friend of mine in Michigan was interested in a handgun that I own. I am trying to figure out the most cost-effective way to legally get the gun...
Hey all,
I am an Oregon FFL and have a customer who just moved to Washington a month ago. She is looking to pick up a pistol from me, and knowing she needs to have the firearm transferred by a WA FFL, she started checking around. She was told by a WA FFL that she must be a Washington resident...
So, I received a flyer from them today. The handle credit card processing for FFLs, unlike some others that are hostile to anything firearms-related.
Question: has anyone here availed themselves of their service for a firearms-related or other small business?
Thanks much.
So with the introduction of new gun laws in OR trying to kill 2A rights by 1,000 cuts, I have some questions. I asked these of my FFL and he was pretty sure of his answers to the first question, but the rest he was not as sure about #3 and was very unsure about #2. If you've got an answer with...
A former Police Lieutenant and 22 year veteran of the Pasadena, CA police force, has agreed to plead guilty in Federal Court, of illegally selling 108 handguns over a 4 year period.
Police lieutenant to plead to illegal sale of 100-plus guns
Alrighty then. I, or rather the side company I formed, is now 01FFL licensed. Everything Federally is all done. We're signed up on OSP's FICS site. And all the other local, state, and federal paperwork, fees, filings, and assorted bullplop is done.
Well, except one lingering question. And...
Hunting over a fine dog with a muzzle loading shotgun must be like heaven some say...I would tend to agree.
This one was on the bucket list for many years. I doubt I'll shoot the older 12 ga version much any more after handling this new 20 gauge. Anyone one else have this affliction? Recently...
Please help I am looking for the lowest cost FFL fireams tranfers in the Portland Vancouver and outlying areas. Counties Multnomah Clark Washington Clackamas Columbia Etc.
Thank you.
The grocery stores have one, the auto dealers have one, the shooting ranges have one, etc. Dose an association exist for FFL dealers? It seems like it would be a worthwhile venture in today's anti-gun climate?
I may be picking up something from a private Washington resident and would like to know if anyone can recommend an FFL that is in NE Portland (near I-205 just over the river). Not looking for any in NW (like A Cut Above Pawn) nor SE (like NW Armory, Adaptive Firing Solutions, etc.). I would...
Applied for my FFL07 about 54 days ago. The website says they will get back to me within 60 days. With an FFL07 which allows me to manufacture and sell ammunition. Would this also make it so I can buy ammo from other manufacturers at wholesale prices?
Hello,
My 2 regular places for FFL transfers, seem to have raised their fees??
Is anyone else seeing this trend?
Does anyone know a FFL on the SW Side of Portland (SW Portland, Tigard, Tualatin, Sherwood, Beaverton, Wilsonville, etc..) that has good rates on FFL transfers..especially for...
So, I am getting the ducks in a row for an FFL side business. I reached out to the insurance agent that handles most of our insurance polices (e.g., life, home, etc.). He told me State Farm would not offer liability insurance to an FFL. He didn't know of one that would, but suggested an...
