In pencil and paper games and computer and video games, an item is an object within the game world that can be collected by a player or, occasionally, a non-player character. These items are sometimes called pick-ups.
Items are most often beneficial to the player character. Some games contain detrimental items, such as cursed pieces of armor that confers a negative bonus to the wearer and cannot be removed until the curse itself is lifted; the means to do this may be costly or require a special item. Some items may also be of absolutely no value to the player. Items are especially prevalent in role-playing games, as they are usually necessary for the completion of quests or to advance through the story.
Sometimes certain items may be unique, and only appear once at a specific location, often after completing a particular task. Other items may appear frequently, and not give a big bonus alone, but when many are collected. Games may differ on how the player uses an item. Some games, many in the Mario and Sonic series, an item is automatically used when the player character comes into contact with it. There are also games, such as those in the Streets of Rage series, and the first Prince of Persia games where the player character may walk over an item without collecting it, if they do not need it yet, and the player must push a particular button for the character to collect it, but it still used immediately, when the button is pressed. Other times, some games, like many role playing games, an item can be collected either automatically or manually, but will not be used immediately, the item can be carried around and used manually either straight away if they wish or at a later time when the player needs it.
Actually it looks more like an artillery shell. And oh yea, Beer is the name of the town. :s0112: :s0070:

So my cousin was doing some repairs in his attic crawl space of the house he moved into last year. And he found an old beat up knife. There are no markings besides the word JAPAN on one of the sides.
Almost looks like maybe it was a kitchen knife that someone altered the profile of but I'm not...
Today I found a loaded revolver at work. I do landscape construction, I was digging a hole to plant a tree in. I haven't seen a thread on this so I thought I'd start one.
SO some guy was saying stuff about buying a full auto and I posted this :
# tax stamp is $200 A fully automatic rifle will start about 8,000.00 and for what everyone wants well north of 10 grand.
And they have me restricted and under review for trying to sell something like a gun. I feel...
So my water heater is 16 years old and I thought I'd replace it rather than clean up the mess it makes in the next year or two and then replace it. In Washington (Oregon and Kalifornya as well) you can't buy one unless it has a "Demand Response" device connected to it so that the PUD? Local...
When I first started my 20 Practical project I had around 400 pcs Frontier 5.56 once fired brass that I used for my conversion and load development. Once I decided I would stick with it, I found that finding Frontier brass was going to be a chore. Low and behold, after about 6 months of...
I was going through a batch of 9mm Luger military brass that have been gathered here and there. I was decapping them, getting ready to swage the primer pockets. Had one that just wouldn't cooperate.
I pulled it out to inspect. I supposed a bedan primer had got past the inspection process. .. but...
I found a 9mm barrel on e-bay for that kid sized rifle I wanted to build and this is how far I got before it got too cold to work in the garage. The hardest part so far was the barrel plug and tang. I don't have any welding equipment so I had to carve it out of a piece of bar stock. Next will be...
I ran across a guy who is an armorer/gunsmith who specializes in the AR15 platform. He does have classes, which of course, are paid. He also has a bunch of videos on YouTube. A lot of the videos feature doing the same things to components from different sources, but you can pick up some extra...
$50 a pound, the most I’ve ever paid. It was at a store in Hood River and they had more on the shelf. They had primers too for $80 a brick, I passed on those.
Beware of scammers with fake websites. I know there are plenty of threads of scam websites and I feel sorry for those that had been scammed. I'm sharing my experience and I'm not going into details of what, who, or where.
Found a gun I was looking for on the internet that was discontinued and...

so I ordered it. I was notified when it got to the store (Sportsman, UGH). So I went in to get it.
Instant approval, happiness. And then the counter guy said, "One more thing here." He said

This vid makes me smile every time I watch it.
Environmental protestors blocked the only road into the Burning Man Festival causing a back up for miles. This happens to be on tribal land overseen by tribal police, welp they weren’t going to have it and took care of business.
Look, I support...
Hello from Spokane, WA. Ive been shooting since I was 15 (turned 63 this year), & enjoy reloading & bullet casting. My main firearms interests lie with British antique & vintage arms, mainly mid-19th century up to WW1, though a few interlopers have found their way into the collection! I am a...
Found this on another site. Hope it's not a repeat here.
