concealed carry
Concealed carry, or CCW (carrying a concealed weapon), refers to the practice of carrying a handgun or other weapon in public in a concealed or hidden manner, either on one's person or in close proximity. While most law enforcement officers carry their duty pistol in a visible holster, some officers, such as plainclothes detectives or undercover agents, carry their pistols in concealed holsters. In some countries and jurisdictions, some civilians are legally able or obliged to carry concealed handguns.
From Sen. Kim Thatcher:
Hello everyone,
As some of you already know, there are two gun bills that will be heard on Monday the 17th in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee will hear testimony from 8:00 to 9:45 am and also a special public hearing later in the afternoon around 5:00 pm...

I wonder if it wasn't just in his waistband and slipped into his underwear, but according to the story it was in his rectum. Nothing like a cheap pistol in your poop chute.
Stolen gun falls from inmate's body cavity during search at north Alabama jail
So i lost my drivers license and I wanted to buy some beer, so at the checkout I showed the cashier my concealed license, and she was confused, so she then showed it to her libtard manager, and the manager said they dont accept it. I told her this is better than a drivers license.
Libtard...
I realize there are a lot of gun sites/magazines/podcasts in general, but I'm wondering if anyone has some recommendations for media related specifically to concealed carry, or maybe handguns?
I subscribe to The Concealed Carry Podcast, and I know there is a Concealed Carry magazine, but I'm...
Feb 2017 Sheriff's News from Washington County Sheriffs office
includes a subject on where you cannot carry a gun. I was surprised to see National Forests and designated Wilderness Areas, if posted or "enacted", as prohibited even with a state issues CHL.
Can anyone validate this? ...and how...
Hello,
I am a resident of Oregon and reside in lane county. I recently got my CHL and have been carrying daily for the duration, nearly a year. Occasionally in the course of my job, it is necessary for me to pop in to the Lane County Sheriffs Office for a moment. I do not work for the...
Nobody noticed. Yay!
I was planning on meeting a friend for lunch (hot wings! No need to ask me twice) at a local restaurant. Wasn't sure if I was going to carry or not, but then he texted me a couple hours before asking if I wanted to take a pistol introduction course at a local gun shop with...
Okay, I'm feeling pretty stupid. The day I was off fetching an Xmas tree, by force of habit, I put my G26 IWB like I do pretty much every day of my life. But I wasn't thinking that when I would be reaching up to put the tree on top of the car, my clothes would lift up enough for my gun to...
Who puts on a solid class for Oregon's concealed carry in the Portland Area? I am looking for a great training opportunity vs a quick class that simply checks the boxes. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything recent. Thanks!
Hello all,
I am new to the Vancouver area and have a couple questions about concealed carry in Washington and Oregon. I have applied for WA, pretty straight-forward, and am looking at the application process for Oregon. Within the application it states:
what sort of response did you folks...

So i had my CHL class for Oregon a few weeks ago and went in to the sheriffs office and am now waiting for my card in the mail. Now when i had my class i remember my instructor saying something (I cant remember the whole conversation so i'm trying to make sure).
Is it illegal to cross state...
I'm going to go see a show there soon, and the website doesn't mention concealed pistols at all. I have, though, found a reddit comment by someone who was patted down on going in, and wasn't permitted to carry.
Many people ask me what firearms I would recommend for them. The answer, in some ways, is not as simple as one would expect. First off, as a caveat, there is no "one size fits all" firearm. Ever. What may work best for a 40 year old widow that has to travel a lot and has arthritis isn't going to...
Here's basically the down and dirty. The wife, gave me the permission to buy a new concealed carry for my last birthday (April). Having never bought a gun online I decided to do just that from gunsamerica.com (I wasn't a member of Northwest Firearms at the time). I bought a used glock 26 from a...
