question
A question is an utterance which typically functions as a request for information, which is expected to be provided in the form of an answer. Questions can thus be understood as a kind of illocutionary act in the field of pragmatics or as special kinds of propositions in frameworks of formal semantics such as alternative semantics or inquisitive semantics. Questions are often conflated with interrogatives, which are the grammatical forms typically used to achieve them. Rhetorical questions, for example, are interrogative in form but may not be considered true questions as they are not expected to be answered.
Yes Dexter EZ Lube is suspect, but I am wanting your thoughts on the grease color after “flush”. Not needing to know “you should pack your own”, etc. I’ve hand pumped slow and turned wheel per mfg instruction. This is only the 2nd time I’ve done the maintenance since owned, was new 2018...
Just got a JRA new Galil build in and I noticed it has a recoil buffer, which I've never seen in an AK action. Is it something about the 5.56x45 that requires a recoil buffer? Is this a design flaw of the Galil?
Gorgeous rifle but my OCD does not like the idea of a piece of plastic in the...
Looking at the WSRPA high-power calendar there's a column which is sometimes blank or has an 'A', 'P', 'R', 'S'. There's no legend and the column does not have a title. I was going to guess they indicate 'Approved', 'Practice', etc. Can anyone verify what those letters stand for please?
I purchased the 2x12 and the 5x30 Sierra 6 bdx scopes. They don’t come with lens caps. I’ve searched around and am having no luck. Anyone know of a set that will fit them?
Thank you in advance!
Short version can a unloaded firearm be transported after purchase from the FFL location of buisness to your car in a parking lot if the FFL is in a school zone, and if not does having it disassembled make it legal to transport?
My friend who lives in Stayton Oregon bought a long gun from a FFL...

RE: OREGON
Description: I want to gift a pistol to my son-in-law, the spouse of my step-daughter. ORS 166.435, Section 4,c,J allows he and I to do this WITHOUT going through the 4473 / background check through an FFL.
But...
I purchased from a forum member an old Burris 3x-9x Fullfield scope made in the US. I tried the scope and love it. It is amazingly bright. However, I have a question about it if anyone could have an answer. Both elevation and windage dials do not have any "clicks" when rotating them. It seems...
So probably a werid question but I was just thinking I know they make 0 buck shot for 12 gauge and I recently acquired a 10 gauge I have some decent ammo for it..some steel fed, black cloud, 00buck and some 1 and 3/4oz slugs for it atm but was curious if they make any 0 for a 10 gauge??? Or does...
A local FFL told my 24 year old son, that he had to break down his AR-15 and separate the upper lower, to take it home after it's release because it wasn't in a locked case and locked in the trunk.
🤦 Is this a new law?
Last I knew a "hunting" rifle couldn't be loaded, as in magazine out, that's...
I just bought a Mossberg 500 yesterday. It is my first shotgun. The gun shop had the security/field combo barrel version. I do most of my pistol practicing at a pit near my home, but also go to the range occasionally when I'm down in Tacoma.
When you practice with your shotgun at a pit, do you...
Given:
1. There should never be licensing for rights (but the government continually does it)
2. We already have an ATF gun registry (if you truly believe we don't, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'm selling cheap)
Would you trade having a 'gun license', very similar to car license, renewable...
I have the Hornady head space comparator. Looking at maybe getting the "Bullet" comparator. Is that body the same for both bullet and head space comparators? I read some but it didn't say.
Yesterday my son bought an AR pistol with a 10.5 in barrel and he is wondering if adding a 6-in can silencer would make it legal length to shoulder fire or not?
Thanks 🤘🤘
I am in a discussion on another forum about CCP removal and would like some opinions to offer on it so my question is:
IF (hypothetically) your state were to put up for a general election the question: 'Do you agree to the removal of the current CCP requirement with a new law that will...
We're likely going to be purchasing some type of Condo or Townhouse on the Atlantic side of Florida. Trying to figure out the best way to store firearms, since we will also be renting it out. Have done some google searches, but can't seem to find anything. It's looking like I might have to...
I like to use Clay pigeons to shoot at @ distance with my AR and hand guns too. My question is.. silly as it may be...Should i be trying to pick these pieces up after shooting? Many years in the past we always left them @ shooting pits considered them just rocks at that point.
I only ask...

I have a Lyman Great Plains percussion rifle (50-cal) and looking to add a Lyman Great Plains pistol in the same caliber.
In the early to mid-1800's how would a settler or pioneer have carried a pistol? Had the holster been invented yet? Now-a-days does anyone make holsters for...
A friend of mine has a gun shop and he recently took in a rifle we can’t really find any information on. It’s a Remington 600 chambered in 22 Super PDC. I found a few things online. It looks like a 243 Ackley Improved necked down to 22 caliber. Does anyone have any info on this caliber?
