k98
The Karabiner 98 kurz (German: [kaʁaˈbiːnɐ ˌʔaxtʔʊntˈnɔʏntsɪç ˈkʊɐ̯ts]; "carbine 98 short"), often abbreviated Karabiner 98k, Kar98k or K98k and also incorrectly sometimes referred to as a K98 (a K98 is a Polish carbine and copy of the Kar98a), is a bolt-action rifle chambered for the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge. It was adopted on 21 June 1935 as the standard service rifle by the German Wehrmacht. It was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles.
Although supplemented by semi-automatic and fully automatic rifles during World War II, the Karabiner 98k remained the primary German service rifle until the end of the war in 1945. Millions were captured by the Soviets at the conclusion of World War II and were widely distributed as military aid. The Karabiner 98k therefore continues to appear in conflicts across the world as they are taken out of storage during times of strife.

Hello all:
I am looking for a Sporterized K98 or K98 Barreled Action for a project (replica ZF39 sniper rifle). Would prefer a barreled action with a decent bore condition over a sporter rifle but will consider a sporter IF the barrel/sights/bolt are unmolested.
I have up for sale a late WWII, "Kriegsmodell" (War Model) Austrian Steyr produced "bnz 45" code k98. This particular 98 was produced in the "t" suffix range, placing it very late 1945 production. This rifle has a matching bolt and cocking piece. This Kriegsmodell variant comes with correct...
Hi all,
Currently CONSIDERING the idea of selling my Mauser K98. This is a Russian capture with all Waffenamt codes intact (nothing ground or peened off). Barreled action was manufactured in 1939 in the Berlin-Lubcker plant, as illustrated on the top receiver codes (237 - 1939), and based on...
Hello All,
This is a 1915 Tula Mosin Nagant M91. This is a WW1 manufacture/issued Mosin Nagant. This rifle is in its original stock and is complete with the usual signs of wear for a 106 year old rifle. Older import mark, located subtly on the barrel near the muzzle. Bolt serial is scrubbed but...
This is a cool gun. It is marked on the stock disk as Kriegsmarine (navy) on the disk. The bolt and mag plate match. The rest of rifle matches itself. It looks like the stock was sanded at some point but various marks are still visible.
$2300
Consider partial trade of milsurps especially M1...
Hello all, I'm looking at some point trying to get a K98. However given how prices are currently I'm only really interested in a shooter K98 and not so much a full matching collectors piece. What would you guys say would be a good price for a shooter K98 be it from Mitchell's (yes I'm aware of...
Up for sale is a 22lb k98 mauser firing pin spring made by wolff. These springs are made to replace the spring on your mauser rifle with a stronger one, so that you can shoot surplus ammo with no worries. This is especially helpful when shooting yugo surplus 8mm for example, as they have hard...
Hello All,
120rds of 8mm Romanian Surplus ammo on stripper clips for $110. Headstamp is 22//73.
I would trade for 7.62x39, 7.62x38r or .38 special flat nose ammo. I do have more 8mm to add for the right trade.
Hit me up with a PM if interested.
Local FTF, no shipping.

Due to upcoming expenses I'm parting with this gorgeous k98. It is a 1940 243 code (Mauser Borsigwalde), non matching. The receiver and barrel match but the remainder of the rifle is a mix master. The finish of the rifle, especially on the receiver and barrel, is excellent. Waffenamts and...
