k98 mauser
The Karabiner 98 kurz (German: [kaʁaˈbiːnɐ ˌʔaxtʔʊntˈnɔʏntsɪç ˈkʊɐ̯ts]; "carbine 98 short"), often abbreviated Kar98k or K98k and referred to as a "K98" (which was also a type of Polish carbine), is a bolt-action rifle chambered for the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge that was adopted on 21 June 1935 as the standard service rifle by the German Wehrmacht. It was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles. Although supplemented by semi- and fully automatic rifles during World War II, it remained the primary German service rifle until the end of the war in 1945. Millions were captured by the Soviets at the conclusion of World War II and were widely distributed as military aid. The Karabiner 98k therefore continues to appear in conflicts across the world as they are taken out of storage during times of strife.
K98 Mauser bolt firing pin assembly. Should fit any of the large ring Mausers.
The cocking sleeve is in unmolested condition with most of bluing still present.
Firing pin still in excellent condition as well.
$80.00 OBO
It is with great pain I have to sell this.
1950s K98 Mauser 25-06
I've been over this project in great detail.
No serial number, it pre dates those.
"Flaigs" ACE Action with Douglas barrel. Barreled in 1958. Although not around anymore, these rifles are spectacular
13&7/8 LOP
23 inch barrel...
8mm Mauser light loads. This is very close to the original S Patrone loading. I no longer have a Gewehr 98 so I do not need this.
I have fired a couple hundred rounds, goes bang every time. I would say it is somewhat lighter recoiling than the 196gr loads. It grouped very well for me inside of...
We just picked up this Mauser and are trying to get more info on it. Based on the flaming bomb proof mark on the stock, I belive it is Spanish. The SN is numbers only.
Great rifling, good finish. Some parts force matched and over-stamped, has some Waffenamt markings. Looking to trade for bulk 9mm range ammo, 5.56/.223 range ammo. Also interested in 7.62x39, maybe 5.45x39.
Not looking for trades.
Venmo preferred, cash is ok.
I have up for sale a late WWII, "Kriegsmodell" (War Model) Austrian Steyr produced "bnz 45" code k98. This particular 98 was produced in the "t" suffix range, placing it very late 1945 production. This rifle has a matching bolt and cocking piece. This Kriegsmodell variant comes with correct...
For sale are my 1939 German K98K all numbers matching except a small screw and the floor plate, potentially duffle cut but can't verify. And two Mosin Nagants M91/30 arsenal refurbed and forced match. In the pictures the bottom mosin is 1942 and the middle is the 1943[SOLD]. All bores are ok but...
Hi all,
Currently CONSIDERING the idea of selling my Mauser K98. This is a Russian capture with all Waffenamt codes intact (nothing ground or peened off). Barreled action was manufactured in 1939 in the Berlin-Lubcker plant, as illustrated on the top receiver codes (237 - 1939), and based on...
I'm putting a feeler out there for my beautiful pre-war K98k. It's a 1937 manufactured i block S/147 (J.P. Sauer & Sohn). No import marks or duffle cut. The rifle is 100% matching down to the smallest screw, meaning it's EXACTLY as it was the day it came out of the factory. It's beautifully rust...
Up for sale is a 22lb k98 mauser firing pin spring made by wolff. These springs are made to replace the spring on your mauser rifle with a stronger one, so that you can shoot surplus ammo with no worries. This is especially helpful when shooting yugo surplus 8mm for example, as they have hard...
Due to upcoming expenses I'm parting with this gorgeous k98. It is a 1940 243 code (Mauser Borsigwalde), non matching. The receiver and barrel match but the remainder of the rifle is a mix master. The finish of the rifle, especially on the receiver and barrel, is excellent. Waffenamts and...
Howdy. I'm selling a milled k98/gew98 trigger guard and floor plate. The guard is in good shape with typical dings, dents, and bluing loss. It has serial 559 and no waffenamts. The milled floor plate is also in good shape with a ground off serial number. They have a tight fit, some filing...
