Hi all,
Currently CONSIDERING the idea of selling my Mauser K98. This is a Russian capture with all Waffenamt codes intact (nothing ground or peened off). Barreled action was manufactured in 1939 in the Berlin-Lubcker plant, as illustrated on the top receiver codes (237 - 1939), and based on the serial #, September of that year. Coincidentally, that's the month/year that Germany invaded Poland and began WW2.
This is a nice, clean example of a RC K98 and based on my experience a great shooter. These are increasingly hard to come by, which is why I am in the "considering" phase.
Ideally I'd like to get $950 on a sale. On a trade I'd potentially go for a Zastava ZPAP M70 AK w/ walnut stock.
