Everyone,
I have a N.I.B. Lyman Great Plains Hunter, Right hand, .54, Flintlock.
I cleaned and assembled it for the first time today. I do have a .32
flintlock that sparks just fine so I do have some experience.
The thing is that when the flint strikes the frizzen there is no spark.
The...
So I finished my 6.5 ar-10 build a few weeks ago...worked up some loads with my favorite Nosler RDF bullets...only to find...they slam right into the bottom edge of the chamber, just under the small bevelled edge that ramps the rounds into the chamber. Wondering if this is a common issue or...
I have used CCI primers on my 223/ 556 reloads since I started loading, and have had very few issues with them. With the current state of affairs, there have been no primers available at my local stores, and I was out of small rifle primers. Bimart got some Winchester primers come in, and I...
Any one else noticing an abundance of interesting threads and posts disappearing since the site update? Seems to be happening on YouTube's new version also.
Is it just the equipment or is it a bug (or virus) in the system?
Asking for a friend.
I’m having serious issues with my sig. after about 4 or 5 mags through it the slide does not lock on the last round fired. When I load a new mag with the slide locked it jams when I release it. I have ocd, so the gun is very clean and properly oiled. It shoots great after cleaned, but not for...
Anyone else have light primer strike issues on their gsg 1911 22lr? I’ve taken the gun apart and cleaned everything and I have tried a couple types of ammo but I can’t even get through one magazine without light primer strikes.
I have the new X5 Legion and I have noticed a couple issues. I am developing a decent knick between the barrel and where the guide rod sits. The weird part is I am not seeing wear anywhere else. Could the guide rod be moving that much while firing?
I need some opinions.
Went to Costco today and saw a coat I really wanted for $23 and they had XXL sizes.
Way to big for my middle section, to small in my shoulders, chest and arms.
3X stuff hangs on me even more though when I can find something it’s pricey and not the most flattering.
Last...
I just purchased my first gun, the Remington 870. Had a fun day out shooting and went through 125 rounds. (100were 2.75" 25 were 3".)Came home, pulled apart the gun for cleaning and inspection and it looks like the bolt carrier is hitting on the bolt that the stock screws into and it looks like...
This is mostly just a gripe thread but I could use some suggestions as well. I emailed CZ asking if their Williams aperture sight would work with the 457. The responded back "Yes" and also recommended a fiber optic front sight.
Well, it turns out that the new bolt design means that the...
I have a Primary Arms LPVO in an Aero mount...
I can NOT get it to stay level in the mount (horozontal axis)
I get everything lined up but every time I tighten the screws down, it rotates the scope.
Ive tried starting to tighten it out of level, hoping it would be level once tightened...
Recently purchased a new Boss Buck 200# Gravity Feeder!
Really pleased with it but not with the critters. Although the Deer love it!
Had a couple of things happen to the New Feeder. Never had issues with Hogs before but do now! My wife called me one morning and we had three large pigs and ten...
I'll try to keep this simple and clear.
On another forum a UK owner of a US made rifle is having problems with it and while covered by the factory (lifetime) he says he cannot send it back and the importer says he only has a two year warranty on it.
The MFG. website says, 'For repairs in all...
Hey all, I recently put together a 7.62x39 AR-15 and I'm have extraction/cycling issues with it. The rifle has a 20 inch barrel with rifle length gas port with an Adams Arms piston system and BCG. The gun fires fine, but is not cycling. I initially thought I might have a misaligned gas...
Took my ar15 out target shooting cleaned and stored. Picked it up today and herd some noise rattleing around and seen that the buffer had come apart and the weights were all loose in the buffer. There was metal shavings every where! What could have caused this? And if you're in the gresham area...
I went to Frontsight a couple of weeks ago with my Sig P320 compact. It has been incredibly reliable with about 5,000 rounds through it. I bought 124 grain 9mm ammunition for the 4 day defensive handgun class. You go through about 700 rounds in the class. I had about 30 type 3 malfunctions using...
I did not see another post like this on the Forum so I apologize if I am repeating. I recently purchased a used Ruger 10/22 Target model (Serial 252-XXXXX) that looks like it was manufactured in 2002. It has a laminate stock and the older silver aluminum trigger group.
I attempted to field...
dont know if it’s just my luck but I always seem to have quite a few defective rounds. Don’t know if it’s winchester quality failing but I can’t recall a time I had a Russian steel case “dirt cheap” ammo.
