I need some opinions.

Went to Costco today and saw a coat I really wanted for $23 and they had XXL sizes.

Way to big for my middle section, to small in my shoulders, chest and arms.

3X stuff hangs on me even more though when I can find something it's pricey and not the most flattering.

Last I checked:

Waist is currently 39"
Chest or shoulders (can't remember) 56"
Neck is 19"

Any of you have similar issues and what brands of clothing do you like?

Well.....Aaanold had a 58" chest at his peak.....so I'm guessing shoulders. :D

I have a 22" neck so bought some dress shirts from mens ware house they must think i have a size 60 waist instead of size 40. They look like tents and are about as comfortable. I think i am going to look for a different shirt.

You think? :D

Try Duluth Trading company, they build clothes for the "Working Man"...or Shrek type bodies...:D

I second this suggestion.
I just bought 3 pairs of jeans from the DTC and they are built amazingly well, triple stitched,
and for the first time in my life I am wearing jeans that don't make me want to
continually be tugging on something.
They are high waisted with plenty of room in the crotch and legs.
Their jackets and shirts etc. are just as good.
They are made for actual people.

Have pretty much the same issue with a twist... 46" chest, 32"waist, 46 inch hips. Clothing manufacturers figure if you have a 46" chest you must have a big gut, and if you have a 32" waist you can't possibly have an azz.

Thanks for posting, I'll be watching this one closely.

Oh, on the plus side, if i don't tuck my shirt in I can CC a small cannon and no one would notice.

I'm with you. I don't like clothes that hang like a tent but I also don't like raising my arms up to expose my navel. With shoulders that are almost as wide as a doorway when I stand up straight, it takes 3-4x shirts to not bind on daily activities.

Somewhere in the middle is a compromise. I've relegated myself to the same new clothes as the emperor.

I have found Costco sizes to be unrealistic across the board! I have the swimmers body ( except for the beer keg) so it's really hard to find a proper fit! Wide shoulders, narrow hips, and long arms and legs! Pants are almost always ether Carhart or Dickies, and jackets I have to shop around the outlets or Work Wear stores to find a good fit! Fred Myers actually does a good job carrying "Working Man" sizes, and I can usually find what I need there!

22" neck with a 16" head?

I'm kidding! :D;)

Remember.... if I don't like you, I ignore you. ;)

JC Penny big & tall section. The Foundry pocket tees have generously cut shoulders. They often go on sale for $11 bucks.
Also there, look for the Van Heusen Polo shirts. They're also cut big in the shoulders and come in tall sizes.

Totally hear you, man.. I can't wear turtlenecks because of the bolts in my neck.

Ya know.... some of you could just put down the fork and the TV remote. It's a win-win... save money on food AND "specialty" clothing. :D;)

OK, OK.... I'm not helping.

#dontredflagmebro :D

Ya know....some of us eat healthy and work out daily too. Just saying. :)
