It's gone...

Wheeler is a socialist...

@etrain16, agreed, completely. Even if one was able to find and register, would one be 100% sure you got them all? I'm pretty fastidious in my record keeping and compliance, but still. And for that matter, how the hell does someone "register" an unserialized metal box with a spring in it? Totally brain-dead, even by the incredibly low standards of the mouth-breather, anti-freedom crew.

@Kruejl, ditto. Our Sheriff made it very plain, in writing, years ago that he would not enforce BS gun laws in this county. From the statements he's made, and a brief interaction I had with him in person, I believe he is a man of his word.

Colorado attmpted some of this, and outside a few cases of prosecution, it's all ignored. Hell, I walked up to a deputy with a bag full of high cap mag "Kits" and had a nice convo about how effective the ban had been. He told me under his breath that they couldn't even think of enforcing any gun laws, no funds, no extra deputies, act. And he for one wasn' going to risk getting shoo enforcing something every one knows is stupid! I think we can count on the same thing in Oregon in all but a very few counties!

I was talking to my Pastor today and he said that Martin Luther was a staunch supporter of the right to self-defense. This exposes this bunch of Leftist pseudo-Lutheran bungholes for what they are. Socialist pigs.

My Pastor enlisted in the Marines in 1966. As an old sailor, both he and I stand in lockstep in support of the US Constitution.

I rest my case.

I know a major part of this article centers around the fact that it's a church group, but lets try to leave religion out of this and focus on the ballot initiative :s0155:

Although the topic is about a church, please keep this on topic and within the rules.

Kinda feel like my fun was being taken out of context... Oh well, guess I'll just keep fun in context with the thread as much as possible.

Such as the fun with how people commenting on a politicians putting out already public information. If the people who put up this petition, or whatever it is called, did not want their information public then they should have reconsidered going through with their plan.

Thanks Bobo. Your name always makes me want to ask if you wear a toupee and live in Florida. HUGE points if you get that reference, brother.

Don't take anything for granted in this state. No matter what.

May have at one point but I tend to forget specific clowns at this point. I just based my name on clowns in general.

But If I'm gonna guess, Bobo Barnett? But he's Texas so I guess not.

Caveman speaks the truth, I mentiond on another thread, time to contact your county sheriff directly and ask him where he stands, even the known bad apples need to hear from us, might give them pause before acting! Best thing to do is call or stop in and make an appointment, don't take no for an answer, he works for you, and when the time comes sit down and speak your peace in a clear and respectful manor, after all, he may very likely be the last line of defence we all have! A good idea for you folk in Multico, get a small work group of folk together and have a sit down with Mike Reese, share your concerns and your distrust in him, and a subtle warning that as his boss, he can and will be replaced if he fails to uphold the covenants of his job! Remind him that he is the arbiter of Constitutnal law and is expected to uphold that above all else, including his personal feelings and loyalties, or allegiances, and ambitions!

Another really good idea is a group letter drafted by some one much smarter then I, to be signed by number of folks, and sent to the Oregon Sheriffs association with the blanket statements that we Oregonians are counting on our Constitutional Sheriffs, duely elected by the citizens, to uphold the Constitution, and that you expect them to put aside personal feelings and loyalties, and uphold their oaths! Do not back down, do not take NO for an answer, make them hear your voices loud and clear, and remind them they serve you, the citizens!
