mosin
The 3-line rifle M1891, colloquially (but mistakenly; see Nagant's legal dispute) known in the West as Mosin–Nagant and in Russia and former Soviet Union as Mosin's rifle (Russian: винтовка Мосина, ISO 9: vintovka Mosina), is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine–fed military rifle. It is primarily found chambered for its original 7.62×54mmR cartridge.
Developed from 1882 to 1891, it was used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other nations. It is one of the most mass-produced military bolt-action rifles in history with over 37 million units having been made since 1891. In spite of its age, it has been used in various conflicts around the world up to the present day.

Given as a gift around 2011. Put around 200 rounds through it. Great condition, the wooden stain adds plenty of character. Don't find much use for it these days. Has been cleaned and maintained. Comes with strap and bayonet. I prefer Precise Shooter in Lynnwood as the FFL but will meet at a FFL...

There are about two racks full of 91/30's in varying condition for $359 ea. All of them have the red re-arsenal shellac. Last time around they started high $$ but wound up on sale (mid-$200's). Anyway, worth checking out for WWII collectors as the Mosin pipeline to the US has mostly dried up...

I have a 1943 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant up for sale.
From my research, this particular rifle was initially built as a PU Sniper Rifle, and arsenal converted back at the end of the war. In the photos below you can see where they welded the tapped holes in the receiver for the scope assembly, and...
