mosin
The 3-line rifle M1891, colloquially (but mistakenly; see Nagant's legal dispute) known in the West as Mosin–Nagant and in Russia and former Soviet Union as Mosin's rifle (Russian: винтовка Мосина, ISO 9: vintovka Mosina), is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine–fed military rifle. It is primarily found chambered for its original 7.62×54mmR cartridge.
Developed from 1882 to 1891, it was used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other nations. It is one of the most mass-produced military bolt-action rifles in history with over 37 million units having been made since 1891. In spite of its age, it has been used in various conflicts around the world up to the present day.
Very cool piece of history. A 1936 Spanish Civil war Mosin Nagant 91/30 in 7.62/54r. There were only a handful of these made and some like this example have the misprint on the receiver. On the front receiver there is the “Made in USSR”, and on the rear hex part of the receiver there is the...
Selling this sealed tin of 7.62 x 54r. Got it in a trade and I don't need it. Assuming someone else can appreciate it more than I am.

Looking to sell or trade (pistol, revolver, etc.). Guns in decent shape for 76 years old, will throw in a bunch of extras (box of ammo, bayonet, cleaning kit, etc).
PM me if interested.
For sale or trade is a 1942 Mosin Nagant M91/30. Bought it many years ago and haven't done much with it since. Everything functions as it should. Not much else to say about this other than the numbers all match, including the bayonet. Clean barrel. I have a couple boxes of ammo to throw in as...
Beautiful example of this little carbine. Nice wood, nice metal, clean bore, has cleaning rod, bayonet, and sling. One or two small dings, but nothing noteworthy, and it’s not counterbored.
Comes with a little over 100 rounds of factory fresh non-corrosive ammunition, which is all I shot...

I recently finished watching the excellent HBO Miniseries “Chernobyl”. In Episode 4, there is a team of occupation/containment troops armed with 91/30’s whose job it was to hunt and kill radioactive pets (and other wild animals). Does anybody know more about this? Anyway, it’s my understanding...
My brother in law (the Wash Co. deputy who cornered the Roomba vacuum cleaner in the bathroom in that viral video a little while back.... LMAO) has this Mosin Nagant he had questions about (and makes absolutely no claims about anything on it).... like provenance, etc.
I photoed every cartouche...

I would like to sell my mosin m44. It has matching numbers (probably arsenal force match) and a very very good bore that is shiny still. Wood is also very nice. The rifle shoots excellent. I will entertain trade offers of other rifles or milsurps
Bought this way back when and I never fired it. Thought as a good cheap shooting plinker why not, but I kept shooting my other guns.
New ammo is about 40 cents a round, that is $528.00 plus shipping and tax. Both tins are still sealed as you can see.
There is a 1938 stamp on it, I tried to...
