We don't need laws for that. Laws get abused far too often. I'm all for education and tax exemption for safes, RSCs and gun locks, but the last thing we need is another ineffective law so that people can feel like we did something.

Maybe the lifestyle, but I've been listening to "gangsta" rap (and just about every other genre of music) since I was ten or eleven and I've never shot anyone. I also had schitty parents, still turned out ok.

So, what evidence do you have that this kid took a firearm from his parents, or that he had access? What makes you think a safe storage law would have prevented him from stealing one from one of his fellow homies, or trading a B.J. and a baggie of blow, after all, according to the leading black man in Amerika, B.H.Obummer, gunz is easier to get then a book!
