Just put together my first AR the other week. My first outing went flawlessly cycling wise. .223 55gr, 5.56 55gr, 62gr, 68gr, 75gr.
I cleaned everything after that first outing; bore, chamber, bcg, charging handle....
But when I went out today, cycling of 55gr was sporadic. Bolt would mostly...
Just curious to see if anybody else has had these issues besides me... I bought a brand new bag of Winchester 7mm Rem Mag brass to do some reloading and development since I got a new rifle and it is time to see what it wants to diet on. I was going through and inspecting my brass as I was...
Why didn't somebody bring this up before??? Oh, right...
And this article isn't even addressing the fact that the BGC are supposed to be done at least annually, for life...
DOL alone is getting 10 new staffers... How much will that cost?
I-1639, federal changes reshape...
Hello, Im having a BIG problem with Tac-con usa. I bought one of their 3mr triggers. The trigger broke the first time I shot it, on the second round. I emailed(i think on a friday/saterday) tac-con and told them about the break, they emailed me back early in the week. They said to send it back...
Stuff you never hear about...
Years ago I had my 27 YO son who lives in Albany listed on my trust as a trustee and he had possession of one of MY SBR's. Unfortunately he is having some health and apparently mental health issues and the doc put him on Vicodin and he's apparently gone batsh!t...
This morning at 2am, my neighbor came over and asked if I knew how to change a flat tire on a car, (he sees me changing oil and maintaining my stuff). His 25 year old son got off work at the mall at 10pm to find his car with a flat tire, called AAA, and has been waiting in the parking lot for 4...
Just now tried out my 'new' (to me and it looks NIB) P227.
As I suspected, it worked fine with the 10 rd mag (with one plus in the chamber).
The 14 rd. mag was a bit different case. Again, I started with one in the chamber and 14 in the mag.
First 4 or 5 were okay, then the next 4 nose down...

So I'm trying out some flat points and can't get them to pass the plunk test in my 1911.i colored a round with a sharpie and put it in the barrel it seems it's rubbing on the bullet itself and not the case.my books give a minimum oal of 1.200 if I take it down to 1.1900 it will fall in and out...
I recently bought a new set of Hornady 243 dies from a member here (I have deleted the PM).
I am having problems with a full-length resizer as the case will not fully engage into the die. They are clearly marked 243 Winchester and I have mixed headstamps of brass and none will fully seat the...
So the big disappointment today was the operation on my new 9mm AR.
It has a PSA Colt SMG lower and a side charging upper from Matrix.
What I suspect is the ejection port is timed to work with Glock style lowers. Using the Colt style lower it throws the brass in such a way that it fails to...
is anybody else having problems getting packages delivered to them? From maybe the snow and crappy weather ....I have two packages from separate sources just basically stop moving days ago and no updates or info... Gettin lil worried.... Am i alone?:(
This shouldn't be so hard! I can't find a "good" holster for my standard 1911's. Here are my problems. Want to carry cocked and locked, strap between the hammer and firing pin. This seems to be the standard "duty" holster method.
First holster is some no name brand OWB (what I want)...
I just read something a couple of weeks ago that was somewhat of a surprise. Specifically, I ran across a couple of discussions on people who have ended up with retina tears or detachment to some degree due to shooting. I think most of what I read was tied to large bore rifles and shot guns...
Hello, I am looking to buy a Glock 19. One problem, I'm 20. My father would be buying the pistol, on one condition: We need to find a way to transfer ownership to myself. Is it possible??
A few question you may have: Yes, we both live in Oregon, Yes, we have clean backgrounds.
Please feel free...
I have an xds .45 which has been through the recall process. When I first acquired it I noticed problems with racking certain hollow point rounds through it. I had no problem on the range with target 185 gr ammo. I tried some 230 ball ammo and gun jammed. So now I have a handgun jammed with a...
