Not so much a term as an observation, every used gun for sale seems to have the words "less than 200 rounds fired" in the AD. Why 200?

My skin crawls when anyone refers to a rifle as a 'gun.' Too many bad memories of Army drill instructors (which eventually included myself) screaming at recruits for calling their rifles a 'gun.' Anyone who has been through basic has probably heard about the many incidents in which a 'cruit who misused the term had to run around the barracks with his penis in one hand and his rifle in the other shouting, "This is my rifle, this is my gun! This is for shooting, this is for fun!"
