Saw some .224 Valkyrie rounds at the Albany Gun show, quite an interesting round.I let palmetto sell me another upper and 10 more mags.
Then I let larue sell me an MBT2s trigger
Then I wanted Palmetto to have built AR10 receivers in stock so they could sell me one of those. As we speak now I'm thinking I'll just buy a lower receiver and complete myself.
Eventually I want to let 80% arms sell me jigs and 80% lowers, but until the recent panic I could be finished lower receivers for about the same price as a 80% so there was no advantage.
The I read about .224 Valkyrie and thought about that.

I feel you on not shooting much with your more recent purchases, however i straight up haven't shot many of my 'recent' purchases, which is worse
No wonder you have a migraine...$200 each, and another 6-12 months after each purchase. even if you buy multiple supressors and send the paperwork in together on the same trust at the same time it's $200 per supressor.
For 2 supressors just the retail cost was about $1200... then $150 for my trust forms, 2 sets of finger prints each supressor for both me and my wife at $10 per set. $10 for passport photos, $200 tax stamp for each supressor, and the cost of postage and a whole day running around town getting forms noterized etc....gun store for initial purchase and start paperwork, police station for prints, rite aid for passport pics, bank for money orders and notarization of trust forms, back to gun store to finalize, then back to police station to file one copy, and to the post office to send one to the ATF, then one more time to the gun store to kiss your cans goodbuy one last time before they get put in a safe for a 6-12 month incarceration. It's a process!
All in for 1 $800 Silencerco Hybrid 46, and 1 $400 Silencerco Specter2, I'm at about $2000 with close to another $1000 in accessories left to buy for the Hybrid 46... but I'll be able to hush everything from .17 rimfire to 45/70, rifles and pistols, with just 2 supressors.
Worth it? we'll see...
I'm pretty tempted by this one... isn't it like $250?Other than the BGC system being slow and/or broken today, BiMart has a great price on this Talo exclusive version of the 10/22 take-down model - French Walnut

Not today, but last Friday picked up a KSG in tan from forum member @LuckySG . Got a hella good deal from a great guy. Won't be my last purchase from Lucky Sporting Goods.

Very cool, I loved the idea of the KSG when it came out since I appreciate bull pups. I was working at a range at the time and a member came in and offered to let me try it. It kicked like a mule! Much worse than my pump 870 or Saiga 12 (apples and oranges semi and pump). Maybe I will give it another try in the future. I'm hoping you have a better experience than I did. It looks like the big butt pad will help! Also, it shouldn't need to be said, but careful slam firing. The internet has photos of at least 1 hand that was shredded from the hand getting in front of the barrel while slam firing.

This is a very good point and I evaluated it carefully before purchase. The guys who shredded their hands were using ProMag airsoft vertical grips that broke while intentionally pushing the limits of rapid fire.

You can't see it in the photo, but I've added the Hi-Tech lower metal rail to reinforce the integral plastic rail to ensure a strong attachment point. I'm also adding a 5" muzzle break/choke tube adapter that will provide additional distance between my hand and the muzzle. I also bought several 12 gauge snap caps to practice the battery of arms before any kind of rapid firing, and will use reduced recoil loads before testing full strength defensive loads.
EDIT: also adding friction tape to the AFG and Traction Grips to the pistol grip.
Was at Cabelas today looking for hiking boots and went into the bargain cave. Found 2 magpul ak mags for $9.44 each due to damaged packaging. Picked them up along with a pair of boots.
I have probably bought 40 or more mags from Palmetto State Armory but those are mostly AR mags. These were for my AK.that's a good find for cabelas for sure. Palmettostatearmory.com has had magpul mags on sale recently. (AR and AK for $8.99 shipped if you buy 10 or more) They are worth signing up for their email blast, but be warned, your wallet will not thank you.
