First handgun I personally bought was a S&W Model 15 .38 cal Combat Masterpiece 4 inch barrel. I got out of the USAF Security Police in late 1971 and my first job was with a private security patrol service working in Oakland and Berkeley CA. Since I carried the Mdl 15 in the USAF, I felt comfortable and competent with it. also carried it when I left private security and went with the Southern Pacific RR Police. But in 73 when I started with a SF bay area city pd, I traded the Mdl 15 in for a Mdl 19 357.

Wayne, is it too much Viagra in my system or do those two beauties just look blue in the picture?
Well, I am color blind so they look ok to me ;) They are original, the bottom one is a much newer Single Six. The 357 does have a bit of holster wear but other then that is still like new, and it has been used A LOT. Started it's life as my Boar hunting gun.

1st gun was a 12 gauge Olin semi auto 40 years ago and I still own it. 1st handgun wasn't until 5 years ago when I picked up a Sig 226 Dark Elite and then I was hooked... Next gun was a Colt King Cobra blued 6" that was so nice I only put 50 through it and it became a safe queen. Then was a Pietta 45LC cowboy gun that I shot the heck out of. I no longer own any of these and I actually regret selling the 1st two. Now I own a Colt Talo CCO which is my EDC, a Colt Gold Cup Trophy that has been totally upgraded, a Les Baer TRS which is totally stock, a CZ 75B SA that has Cajon internals and a fiber optic (cant remember the brand) that is amazing to shoot and a home built AR pistol that is a kick in the A$$ to shoot. As for rifles I have a Daniel Defense DDM4 and a Winchester Centennial 66 with the 26" octagonal barrel. Did I say I'm taking all these gems to the range in about 5 minutes? In Montana and the range outside of Hamilton goes to 300 yards and I have 1000 rounds of different ammo... Can you say "PARTY DUDE!!!!:cool:"

Glock 17 - 1st Gen back in the day, baby. LOVED that gun.

Of course.....had to sell it a few months later cuz I had to cover moving costs of getting a new place, LOL. So I suppose the SECOND 1st gun I bought when I was an adult was an HK USP 45.

Went straight down to Bimart and got me a ruger 10/22 when I was old enough.. Lot of money for a kid making only 4.25/hr, but oh was it worth it.. Still shoot it as much as I did back then. Never have replaced the spring. Well over 20k+ through it

Like $1.75/hr (forget) saved up for a Belgian Hi-Power with beer can adjustables.. many many hundreds of dollars from a retail rip joint many decades ago. whatcha gon do? fine handgun though.
