You just walk out to the gun safe , open the door, and grab it.
It is normally on a POF GenIII lower ,but for "speshil occasions" it gets to ride on it's brother -lower.

It's not my rifle. I just take the pics. I did rip off a few mags threw her though. Shooting that thing lefty, suppressed with the gas buster handle installed is a real good time.

Okay...I'll post one of my "High Speed-Low Drag" shooting photos

I'm the guy proned out shooting my Shiloh Sharps in 45-2 7/8" (45-110 for you non-techy types the total OAL of the entire cartridge is over 3.5") at a steel 3/4 size buffalo at 1200 yards in East Texas. The guy spotting is Bill Bagwell (the Bowie Knife Maker & former contributing editor for SOF magazine). We're shooting at his private range in Texas. My Sharps weights 14 pounds 4 oz and it still kicks up a good wallop!



Sharps Cartridges
50-70 (Left), 45-70 (C), & 45-110 (Right)
50-70 case length is 1 3/4"
45-70 case length is 2 1/10"
45-110 case length is 2 7/8"
Bullet in both 45's is 535 grains and 1.65" long
The 50-70 was a military issue cartridge and was responsible for most of the buffalo herds demise in the early part of the hunt (slaughter actually). Don't let it's stubby appearance fool us...this cartridge will shoot clean through a 2000 + pound buffalo at 300 yards!

Keep an eye out on some of the boards - usually go from $3.K- $5.K.
Then you need sights = $350.00, Surefire = $600.00 , KAC Trigger = $300.00,
AAC M4 2000 08 = $900.00 + $200.00 Tax Suppressor + $200.00 SBR Tax , $350.00 POF Gen III Lower = $350.00, EOTech $355.00, and whatever stock you want to put on it.
I think that is all.

I can get a post sample HK 416 for 1800 bucks and then sell the upper for 3-5 K, sell the lower and then rinse and repeat.

I like ppl that will pay a LOT for uppers.

Doesn't the ATF frown upon SOTs buying post-May dealer samples for the purpose of stripping and reselling the parts since that really doesn't fall under the concept of demo sample?

You would get a lot of customers right now if you modified the prices a bit. Demand is ultra high, but below that price point.

I am not sure,

I will call my local Portland ATF guy and see what he thinks.

If he says that after the police demo, I can do as I see fit with said weapon, It looks like I will be having some uppers for sale.
