Actually, the point I was thinking of was in the buildup TO the OK Corral--neither the Earps nor the Cowboys really wanted a fight but Ike had a gift for dragging people kicking and screaming into trouble they clearly Did Not Want, kinda like Serbia starting s--- that swiftly became WWI. Brocius had his racket from rustling Mexican cattle, the Earps had their hustles at the card tables, the two spheres of influence were non-competitive and gave both ample opportunity for lucre.

It is Reddit that whole place is a massive dumpster fire , but the poster was right about one thing. Lots of folk here complain about gouging , but my experience has been its both socialists and people who apply the conservative label to themselves that complain about supply / demand economics at work in the classifieds .

yes I am laissez-faire Libertarian ... free market means what it says to me.

I grew up blue, deep blue. One parent had gotten in hot water attending some of the well known Socialists meeting when he was young. By the time I was in high school I started to wonder. WA was fairly one sided. I would watch my parents go livid over stuff being done to them, by the people they voted for When I would ask, didn't you vote for these guys? They would both get angry and blame people who were not in charge here
That started me wondering but I was still ingrained with one side was great, the other ate kittens. Carter was the breaking point for me. I voted for Regan after him. When my Dad was still alive he learned to just avoid talking to me about it because I would calmly state facts and he would get mad.

Very revealing indeed, as he was happy to exploit the " deals " he got here.

Reverts back to a deep seated sense of superiority, especially with respect to intelligence.

But I still think he's Martian spy.

A lot of people gave me crap about putting a minimum post number and site supporter stipulation on some of my classifieds. I don't want to sell to people that are here just to buy stuff, they can go to any other site they want to do that.

Case in point, last year I had 3,500 5.56 cases For sale and right out of the blue within minutes of posting, here comes a lurker that just joined to get my deal. Being the nice guy that I am I voiced my opinion's to him and he told me he was going to be a supporter and contribute to the site. He wound up doing neither.
