500 rounds of Prvi Partzan 7.62x51mm

I am thinking of switching from Federal to PPU 7.62x51 because of some bad batches of Federal Lake City. The first 500 round individually boxed batch that I had problems with were covered in sealant, on the bullets and cases. Enough sealant that they would stick in the chamber. I contacted Federal and they took them back and refunded my cost - pretty good customer service, but a pain in the bubblegum to get done. I recently bought some more Federal in the colored, pretty boxes that were scraped up so bad that I don't know if I will be able to reload them, if they chamber in my L2A1. Deep scratches and long dents. I still have those since I only bought 100 rounds from BiMart.

I have no experience with PPU ammo myself until now but I wanted something that I can shoot my M14 inside the indoor range and they do not allow bi-metal or other magnetic bullets to be shot there.

I shoot PPU in almost all of my rifles and pistols except my L2A1. I like PPU and have always had good shooting with their cartridges. The 7.62x51 is for my semi autos only. I don't use it in my bolt gun. Finding reasonable priced and good ammo is getting more difficult for that caliber. I don't shoot cheaply made or questionable ammo.
