Slightly different point of view on this. Sure, some companies just don't have their crap together, but every interaction you have with a company is between you and an employee. That employee may not be adequately trained, or they may not care about the job, or they are absolutely buried in work because the company can't afford to hire more people so they're frantically trying to do 3 jobs at once, or a host of other things. Some are within that company's control to change, and others are not.

Received a call that we flooded the building, we showed up to find this on the floor. My partner and I laughed really hard at what was considered a flood. We wanted to ask the general contractor if this was their very 1st construction job they managed.

What some might consider a catastrophe is a minor inconvenience to others and perhaps very insignificant, perspective is different from one person to the next.
