Saw this ad. If it were $200 it would deserve three :s0112: Emojis. But at $1100+? It deserves :s0112::s0112::s0113::s0113::s0153::s0153::s0054::s0002::s0002::s0112::s0112::s0108::s0108::s0110::s0110:;):s0113::s0153::s0113::s0113: :s0054: :s0054::s0113::s0113::s0113:

Plus that $1169 doesn't count the hospital bills after you blow the tip of your thumb off.

History would appear to show us that the sub compact handguns we take for granted today were indeed more difficult to manufacture than were would have thought. The Semmerling is a pretty cool gun. I've handled one but not shot one. One that was similar but different was the 357Mag COP. I think it was made by American Derringer. Spendy in its day but four rounds of 357Mag on board.

I had a chance to shoot one of those when I worked in a gunshop 40 years ago. One of our customers would bring his guns in to be cleaned after he went shooting (I guess his billable time was more valuable to him) At the time I didn't hate it, as I recall the instructions said for 'rapid fire' was to use a loose off hand grip and to wrap your thumb over the top of the slide when you fired it and the recoil would help cycle the slide. I don't recall if that actually worked, just remember laughing like a +/- 20 year old about the discomfort from recoil in my off hand thumb.
What was really fun was his C.O.P. that he carried with Glaser Safety Slugs  Recoil in the C.O.P. wasn't bad at all, but the muzzle blast would shake your fillings loose!

Looks like the idiots at standard manufacturing are at it again. Just ridiculously shoddy crap gun. Look at that "barrel" and the tons of pock marks in the dogbubblegum cast "metal", jagged edges on what should be smooth round holes, filed off flat spots, burrs sticking out, etc. It's embarrassingly bad. Reminds me of a middle school casting/shop project. Contrast this piece of crap with the outstanding workmanship of little NAA revolvers. Just no comparison. Complete and utter Lorcin-like garbage. Really reminds me of rohm quality it's so bad.

And this poorly made piece of die cast garbage is $409 street price!!! They must be bubbleguming nuts! A swing out cylinder NAA revolver (swings out just like a big DA revolver) cost me $288 (probably more now).
