Caniglia v Strom 2021, SCOTUS ruled 9-0 that what happened violated both 2A and 4A; and Strom's side tried to claim "community caretaking exception" for the illegal taking of firearms and illegal search &seizure.

I do NOT believe in RED FLAG LAWS.

There are and already were LAWS on the books to deal with such matters in INDIVIDUAL CASES long BEFORE the terms RF laws existed.

TRUMP started this RF LAW bs even more, going on about the rifle age crapola being moved to age 21, etc. even in so called RED STATES.

I still believe that the SC of the US of A STINKS to high heaven!

Here is the DHS memo on the subject, a nonbiased reading will see that they expect trouble from (and have info from) BOTH SIDES this summer. There is absolutely ZERO high ground on this and finger pointing at 'the other side' has no basis in reality

Nearly everything in that memo indicates trouble from one side. The one cite from the other side even says they plan to, "Prepare to defend" so I think there is some pretty clear moral (from the point of opposing violent protest of anything) high ground for one side. Especially given one of the last acts by the WH Press Sec. was to say, ""I know that there is an outrage right now about protests that have been peaceful to date," Psaki said in a May 10 press briefing. "We certainly continue to encourage that outside of judge's homes."

I don't care what the topic of discussion relates to, this is in direct violation of US Code 1507 and it is being directly encouraged by the White House / President. Because we know what peaceful protests actually mean.

Violence is not good when brought to this discussion by either side, agreed.
