My point exactly, the kids are forced to take drugs that can turn them into killers by the very schools they go to. They create killers, you yourself have seen how they do it and have been a part of it. The kids shooting up the schools are turned to killers by the schools. Keep drugs out of the hands of the schools and require a license professional to give them out and if they are given out then no guns within 1,000 feet of those taking the drugs.
I have not seen anyone who was prescribed ritalin act aggressively, just tired most of the time. Those who used them without a prescription (got them illegally mind you)? That's a whole other story, they take them in high doses (higher than you would get prescribed).

If this current trend continues the anti gun groups will have all they need to pass highly restrictive gun laws. The population won't tolerate the current level of gun violence. Figure out ways to compromise or have all your rights taken away. Just my $.02.

You people keep talking "compromise", so I have a couple of questions for you:

What has ever been given back to 2A supporters with one of these "compromises"?

When has giving up rights ever benefited the 2A community?

What, besides more restrictions, is the gun control lobby going to give us in return for this or any "compromise"?

FYI, they plan on taking our rights either way, "compromising" away our rights only speeds up their agenda.

You still haven't answered the challenge I made in my post above - prove to me that more laws are needed, especially when we know the laws on the books aren't being adequately enforced. Everyone tells us that gun owners need to compromise - guess what, they already have, many times - just look at all the laws already on the books. I'll say it over and over again - no more laws are needed. Get the damn government to enforce the laws that are already there. They have failed us, numerous times, by failing to enforce current laws - yet your answer is more laws. Do you not see how ridiculous that sounds?
I agree that

Magazine restrictions less than 10 rounds. Now unrestricted.

Only because of a sunset clause the NRA argued for. However, having the sunset clause for the Assault Weapons Ban is the exception, not the rule.

We still have the NFA and ban on automatics. Hell, even the suppressors aren't being removed from NFA (which, btw, are considered a safety device in other countries).

Who is "they" and what is their nefarious agenda?

And you think that's even remotely possible in this country?

Whether or not it's possible isn't the point. The point is that "they" are trying and I will fight them every way I can, using the 4 box method (soap, ballot, jury and ammo) and it looks like the time is close for the fourth box.

Ray

I agree with the above, but I'm just gonna say I know quite a few 19-21 YO's that have the maturity level of a HS freshman.
I'm for raising the age of adulthood to 25 on EVERYTHING, voting, guns, sex, draft, driving, alcohol, drugs, etc. NOTE: Currently two of my kids are 22 and 23. 'Nuff said?

Well, I'm sure your fantasy of armed revolution is actually pretty far away, but even if that does occur, good luck. I guess.

As @Boboclown noted, that was a clause argued for by the NRA. The '94 AWB was thrust upon us by the democrats and a couple RINO's, and was not a "compromise" that we (the majority of the gun community) agreed to.

Do you have another example?

Where did I state that I had a "fantasy of armed revolution"? I just stated that it "it looks like the time is close", not that it's something that I want on our soil or look forward too. With over 25 years in the Army, I've already been down range far too many times to want that here. So if you have no other tactic than being a troll......................

Edited to add, that your kind of a hypocrite, as yesterday you complained about someone trying to put words in your mouth.............

Ok. Maybe I was misinformed.

How does one use ammo as a way to protect ones rights? Does your voting box accept 5.56x45 as a ballot?

And maybe "the time" you keep talking about for ammo is what? Mailing them to your representative with a letter etched onto the casing?

Talking about creating more laws and I read of talk about enforcing those laws...

Smoking is illegal for kids under 18, yet I have never seen a single kid get cited for smoking, or even a cop ever stop and give a citation when driving by teens...

In California they used to have in the 1980's school entrances with metal detectors and a guard at each entrance. This ended when civil rights violations where brought up and they stopped it. The big cities needed this badly places like Oakland and LA saw less violence with knives and guns at schools while these were used. But the culture there decided checking bags for guns and knives was a violation of rights. Mind you the same people there are perfectly fine with checking you at Airports, Movies, are fine. Yes I realize those are private places, but criminals do not look at signs they look for weaknesses !

And you think that's even remotely possible in this country?

YES. IMHO, it could happen here.

In Germany, there were many Jews who thought that, what happened.....wouldn't/couldn't happen there.

First they came for the Socialists Hi-cap magazines, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist had no Hi-cap magazines.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists Semi-automatic firearms, and I did not speak out—

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me real weapons left to put up a fight with.

The clause was the compromise. My point is that if you don't work with them to solve the problem a solution will be given to you. Probably not one that you're going to like.

I agree with you. But let me ask you a question.

In the event of an armed revolution of some kind, where youre gonna need your weapons to protect yourself from the tyranny of a corrupt government...do you think an AR15 is going to help against the might of the American military?
