Just opened a 16-year old can of Wolfgang Pucks hearty chili soup. Just as well preserved and delicious as on day 1.

Edit 2-6-21: removed a comment made in jest that was inspired by some discussion going on at the time in another thread. Don't want it to be misinterpreted by someone new to the thread. As they say, "You had to be there."

I've consumed a handful of really old liquids if you know what I mean.

Food wise. Technically some of the cheeses I've purchased are really really old. As well as some of the deli meats I enjoy from time to time.

The oldest thing I ever ate..............

Well, lets see......... I've eaten my fair share of dirt and as a small child, I ate a rock once, so I'd have to say it was somewhere between millions, if not billions of years old.
