In some respects a good choice- (formerly) inexpensive, will run forever and a powerful cartridge to boot. It has served long and well in east bloc/turd-whirled scenarios.. Not my first choice obviously but would make do to put a hurtin on anyone fool enuff to come within range of the cartridge or bayonet...

Generic AR I built with 1x Red Dot, Laser, and 4,000 lumen light. Good night or day. My vest carries 280 rounds of 5.56.
