I found nothing wrong with what he said given the audience he was yapping at. The gun - gang violence in our large cities is awful and it is something we are going to have to get used to as an argument against gun ownership. He toned this down from how Malcom X used to put it, as this guy didn't attribute the influx of all evil only to white people.

But since this targets libs I found a far greater distortion this week perpetrated by Rick Santorum who blamed liberals for the lack of understanding of history by our young people. This made no sense to me as the nations young are just as ignorant of Zinn as Beard (historians commie to conservative). If Santorum had a point they would test high when asked for a socialist interpretation yet, in reality, they don't know an IWW from a Pinkerton. In short not even your rightie presidential candidates can make a non goofy argument, and since they yap to such as you, why should they bother.

Rick Santorum Blames Bad History Scores On Left Wing Conspiracy (VIDEO)

You have to understand that since 1968 the Democratic Party has been run by Communists (Wikipedia will give you the details)
No One in the Democratic Party is anything other than a self serving traitor and criminal. Many of the Republican Party are the same.
When you are a crook and a traitor everything you say is a lie or nonsense, if they ever told the truth they'd be in jail.

Yeah just like Bugeye's feedback score is also Zero yet you used this non relevant fact against someone you are politically opposed to and ignored it when it applied to some one who's political bent aligns with your own and who posted just before the one you chose to engage in and Ad-Hominem attack on.

There's a word for that? what was that word again? can anyone help me out with that word?

Hip? Hipo, Hipcri...........oh yeah I remember......................................................................Democrats!

Sorry - I'm using a figure of speech. Meaning I think Kenno's post, where he says "No one in the Democratic Party is anything other that a self-serving traitor and a criminal" is worthy of a feedback score of 0. To be clear, I'm a registered Democrat. I may be wrong about everything I believe, but I'm damn sure not a criminal nor a traitor. To call me and millions others traitors and criminals is an 'ad hominem' attack, wouldn't you say?

Specificity, it matters.

You didn't specify what you meant so I judged it as I saw it.........but, you are also taking Kenno statement and reading your own info into what he is saying. He appears to be saying Democratic politicians and Republican politicians are "nothing but self-serving traitor and a criminal" and I would have to say that I agree with that statement.

if you buy into the general mindset of your chosen party, you might be in for a surprise.

please do me a favor... tell me why you're a democrat. please give as much detail as you will. this isn't a trick, its not spite- i'm genuinely curious.

I appreciate the question. I'm a Democrat because we really only get to vote for R or D, unfortunately. To the degree that the Democrats support programs like social security, medicare, unemployment insurance, they make this very predatory economic system we live under a bit more liveable. To the degree that they support education, and the rights of people to organize unions, they might keep the door open for people to make better lives for themselves. The passage of the Civil Rights legislation of 1964 and 65 under Democratic President LBJ and Democratic Congress at the time was courageous and necessary, and cost the Democratic Party the southern US until 2008. Now, there isn't a Democratic position that the party big shots have not back peddled on.They really are as bad as Republican politicians when it comes to serving big powerful corporations. So maybe I shouldn't have gotten all bent out of shape over Kenno's remarks. Still, to me the eight years under President Bush were such a disaster, that I cannot see myself or the country going back to that alternative.
On gun rights, I'm 100% pro 2A, and the D Party's political position there is as silly as the R Party's stance on abortion or gay rights.
What I'm most interested in is figuring out some way for us everyday people to avoid and survive the breakdown I see happening around us. We're going to really disagree and dislike each other, but if we go to calling each other criminals and traitors, it's not too far to shooting at each other. The recent history of the former Yugoslavia comes to mind.

Well said.

Though there are more than legitimate complaints about our gov it is still one of the best systems ever, past or present.
The gov is held to a perfect standard and is found lacking, duh!

But you know the people do have the power to change this system easily!
Heck, if we simply stopped paying our bills we could bring down this monolythic ponzi scheme in a month - faster than any of the afflicted institutions could take legal action!
Have you ever heard of any easier, or more pleasurable, way to make a revolution?
But, they have nothing to fear from us because there is no way we can unite. Only respect for reasoned argument can garner a consensus, and reason is dissed in favor of goofy statements that sound good to the brainwashed (they pre test it) even though they are nothing but BS (like Rick Santorum's fabrication I cited earlier).

Thomas Paine

"The most formidable weapon against errors of every kind is reason. I have never used any other, and I trust I never shall."

"It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be mentally faithful to himself. Infidelity does not consist in believing, or in disbelieving; it consists in professing to believe what one does not believe. It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying has produced in society. When man has so far corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime. "

We need a modern Thomas Paine, and a large number of citizens self honest enough to toss their implanted attitudes.

Sure, and you'll get a no-knock warrant served at your house faster than you can say "The Fountainhead".

Guys, be sure to keep this firearm-related and lighten up on the personal stuff or it's going to be closed.

I have to agree that the libs are over the top with their approach on firearms, this makes me sick! However, the diehard rebubs can be just as crazy. The biggest problem is, we are pitted against each other with these issues while the corporations run the country as thier own (not so little) piggy banks! I think that the democrats that blindly follow the far left crazies and the republicans that just stomp their feet because some rich old white guy (FOX News) tells 'em to should all be put in a dark hole and forgotten about! What we need to do (on both sides) is come together and take our country back from these greedy buggers that use the issues like "gun control" and "gay marriage" to distract us from what life in this country could really be like. Small govt sounds good but big govt would't be so bad if it was really OUR govt. Until then, I will remain a member of the NRA and support them when I can AND pull my hair out over who the (H.E. Double hockey stick) to vote for because they are all loser puppets owned by the corporations! Thanks guys and gals here at NWFA for listening to my little rant. :) I don't mean to offend anyone here, dems or repubs. Lets keep our country OURS!!!

"guns, gangs, and drugs" that problem has not been solved in his 52 years of life, ha they have not been solved throughout the existence of man, a bit arrogant to think we can solve it.....

Sure, and you'll get a no-knock warrant served at your house faster than you can say "The Fountainhead".

Yes, it would be a nasty experience for the organizers, but they wouldn't have time to get to anyone else, they will be too broke to pay the thugs in a few weeks, and they will take weeks debating what to do, the 'money market' nature of daily finance puts tham at huge risk.

No guns required just stop paying, instant overthrow, of course who takes over next is another issue. Since a majority don't trust anyone, or anything, it would be a waste. We might as well keep our current system, given that we yap nonsense, believe BS, don't have strong facts to back our stronger opinions, and are unwilling to change our attitudes even when confronted with reason itself. Anarchy is a pretty poor system given the raw material we have to work with.

Chicago’s top cop plays race card in gun rights debate; NW activists react

Northwest gun rights activists, including Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Bellevue-based Second Amendment Foundation, are outraged over remarks made by Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy that suggested federal gun laws that do not prohibit firearms ownership amount to “government sponsored racism.”

He's a liberal tool !!

"McCarthy’s sick liberal sensitivity training has taught him well, i.e., criminals are not responsible for their own actions. They are at the mercy of forces beyond their control. Poor economics. Racism. Guns. Sarah Palin. Various GOP office holders. Liberals always have some tired excuse for bad behavior."—Washington Times

At the end of 2009 we had over 7 million people in the US: in jail, prison, probation or on parole. We are the worlds leading jailer, 7 times greater per capita than Europe or Canada! And we are growing this system even though it is unsustainable now! Looking for reasons and trying to turn the tide is just plain common sense, it is costing us a fortune and wastes lives. One out of 20 black males is in prison so this is a major topic for their community and they are naturally looking for any excuse! The total cost of corrections in the US is over 100 billion, judicial 75 billion, and police 150 billion!

A system that prevents, salvages who can be salvaged and at least extracts enough work from the hopeless so they pay their keep, is in order.

the bad guys belong in prison; sounds like the U.S.A. is doing a better job of it than other countries apparently if those numbers are correct. I don't see that as a negative at all.

The real bad guys run the country, people guilty of nothing more than victimless "crimes" and violating unconstitutional laws rot in prison. All so sleazeball politicians and power tripping cops can troll for votes from the law-and-order sheeple.

Yep, not a negative at all.
