Once the semi autos are banned... Because you know that's going to be the first move...

How will your shooting hobby change?

CAS stuff, precision shooting?

Not trying to be defeatist, just uh... you know the thing

No guns available anyways.

Been wanting a single shot in 300 black. As well as a 9 shot revolver in 22.

Those will get banned before they ever come back in stock the way things have been going...

If you do get a .22 revolver, get the oldest one you can find.
I've had several, and the newer ones always have 40lb double action pulls.
Or, if someone "fixed " it , unreliable ignition with different ammo types.

As an answer to the thread question, I'll buy what I find. This approach has served me well. Even during the big scary Brady ban I was finding mini 14s for $300 and $100 10/22s . Ammo was almost as bad then as it is now. I paid a dollar a round for green tip at a gun show in 1996/97

Is it like this stuff is a 'mystery' or considered an 'alternative' to MSRs?

Heck I grew up with bolts, levers and revolvers, largely in part stuck with them and always will.

Semi-autos, MSRs etc. don't dominate everyones shooting 'life' and quite frankly I am glad they do not.
