It's a Pedersoli Howdah 45/410

Model 1916 Mauser Short Rifle. Manufactured by Oviedo in 1935. Originally chambered in 7x57, re-chambered to 7.62x51 at some point. Due to stress from re-chambering a hole was bored in the chamber to relieve pressure. It has a 21" barrel and is minute of Bambi at 100 yards all day. I replaced the rear sight with a Mojo Click Sight. It eliminates the V notch and replaces it with an adjustable peep sight. It's great for my old eyes.
These have pretty much dried up, at least the ones in good shape have. I cleaned this one up and it's been a good stick.
