That's what you're supposed to do with intruders.

If you the read the story, apparently the homeowner got into a struggle with the intruder... he probably survived thanks to having a gun, though one wonders if maybe he should have made sure the bad guy never got that close in the first place...

I used to live in Issaquah a less than 2 years ago. They had a big gun fight at a park on Lake Sammamish a couple years ago. Gang shoot out or some such. I sometimes feel I am being paranoid for always having a loaded pistol around. Also if i would go to jail for shooting the bears trashing our garbage cans if I ever drew down on one.

Then, you hear about this stuff almost every day with the internet and instant news. Nope, I feel just fine about having one ready. I want to get my wife to a CC course soon but my life is really hectic these days and budgeted.
