Homeowner shoots, wounds intruder in Issaquah | The Today File | Seattle Times
Dang, I was pass in by about that time!
I love stories with happy endings.
If you the read the story, apparently the homeowner got into a struggle with the intruder... he probably survived thanks to having a gun, though one wonders if maybe he should have made sure the bad guy never got that close in the first place...
It is a upscale residential area, a place you would consider safe and crime free.
No place in America is truly safe these days
life isn't totally safe
I am just glad the homeowner was alble to defend himself!!!!!
I wish I had a dollar for every time some neighbor on the tv news said "..but this is a good neighborhood...nothing ever happens here..."
I used to live in Issaquah a less than 2 years ago. They had a big gun fight at a park on Lake Sammamish a couple years ago. Gang shoot out or some such. I sometimes feel I am being paranoid for always having a loaded pistol around. Also if i would go to jail for shooting the bears trashing our garbage cans if I ever drew down on one.
Then, you hear about this stuff almost every day with the internet and instant news. Nope, I feel just fine about having one ready. I want to get my wife to a CC course soon but my life is really hectic these days and budgeted.
If I could I'd pack a shottie or battle rifle near everywhere
That's a good job! Glad the gentleman is unharmed!
Well, you could carry one at home. M1-A at the dinner table?
