That's certainly true in the socialist-run west coast states. Take these two murderers who have been arrested 65 times and are still in their early 20's for example.

Guns in good guys hands are not the problem. Criminals on the street committing offenses against law abiding citizens are the problem. The current governments are expanding the number of criminals on the street and trying to reduce the number of good guys with guns.

He has been booked but not charged. On capital crimes they can charge bond if you haven't been charged. Rule #3

I have read he was charged with first degree murder by Kitsap County...

How can they hold you on a million dollar bond without charging you with something first?

At first court appearance - NOT an arraignment - the facts as known are presented o the judge, as well as the pertaining sptatute which is believed to have been violated. Normally, the judge rules on the existence of probable cause (reason to believe that a law has been violated and that the detained person violated that law) to detain the suspect and sets what is considered to be reasonable bail. Normally, 72 hours are allowed either for the filing of charges or the release of the suspect.

Strange, I haven't heard a word about charges for the girlfriend for mail theft even though she admitted to opening mail boxes and there was, reportedly, stolen mail in the SUV. Must be an oversight.

That same thought occurred to me...
My understanding is there were two females in the vehicle, in addition to the driver at the time of the mailbox thefts.

If they really wanted the crime problem to stop they would stop prosecuting the only people that are doing something about it.
