Of my current guns I'd keep my Ruger 22/45. It's cheap to shoot and pretty fun. If ammo price wasn't factored in I'd keep my 1911 as my only gun if I had to get rid of the rest. It's just a cheap old Llama Max that I got in trade years ago, but it has never had one issue at all, never.

Whatever handgun I have with me when the shtf will have to do. If it isn't the best, it will be good enough to get another.

These one gun scenarios seem to never die. However, the best handgun is a rifle that does the job at longer range.
