This one actually gets good gas mileage...as long as you stay off the hammer. Scale weight of 2340 lbs and the Webers just sip along until you hit the main jets at 2000 rpm. But by the time you look over at the speedo in front of the passenger seat your doing 85 to 90 so who cares about mpg after that point.

I have never own a SUV, Truck or anything along that area besides the 1986 Toyota SR5 "pickup" that I bought in the 80's for home improvement utility vehicle which I still have today and hardly use it. I "was" really big on classic sports cars. For some reason and I don't know why I kept looking at this...?

When we bought our last Jeep Wife was looking REAL hard at those new Bronco's. They do look like they did a good job on the new version.

Nice to rock out with a cassette tapes
When I bought my Ford Crown Victoria new in 2005, it came from the factory with an AM/FM/Cassette player. Which was already obsolete by most standards. I didn't like it, I asked the dealer how much extra they wanted to swap it for an AM/FM/CD player. They said, "about $600." So I said, "fuggetabboutit." I bought a used unit on ebay for about $70 and it worked and works just fine.

I'm told these days that CD's are obsolete, real people now stream everything.

When I bought the CV, it was a leftover 2004 year model, discounted $7,000 and it was the stripper model (but not a cop car). I've suspected that it was built for fleet use but the sale bilged out for some reason. It wasn't a car that "normal" dealers would buy for floor stock. The cassette player in a 2004, maybe retired Texans might use it for listening to religious tapes.

I had a little portable cassette player that I bought in the PX in Vietnam. I still have some cassettes that I recorded on it and they play.

I go thru a lot of cars. I never can keep one for longer than 2 years. I had a Lincoln Corsair and though a fine vehicle, we just didn't mesh. Thought about a truck for bed space but dang they small ones were pricey. I ended up with a 23 Pacifica. So far so good. Has everything I need except ventilated seats, affordable, straight V6, and stow n Go is amazing. Basically, a covered truck bed when I need it. We pulled the pop up with no issues and taking a road trip in August to Colorado. My favorite car was probably the 2016 CTS.

A grocery getter...:s0004: Nice to rock out with a cassette tapes in an 80's Alpine system.

Damn, have not seen those in a hell of a long time. :D
Last car we bought was "high end" when it came out and has the original Alpine system. Playing around with the system when I had to set it back up after clearing a code I accidentally set it to increase the volume as speed of the car increased. I soon found it too loud even for me :s0140:
Shows how well things used to be made that the cassette deck still works after all these years.
