A Police trade in at Aim Surplus. Smith and Wesson Military and Police Model 65. Four inch bull barrel, bobbed hammer, fixed sights..357 magnum. This will be my second one. Will need a holster and new grips.

Let us know how well those compare to 124gr!
My MK25 shoots 124gr wonderfully, 115gr not so much.
115 gr fmj produced a 1/3" wide group about 2.5" long, hand held at 10 yards, admittedly those were my own reloads. 147 gr Federal factory produce a 1.5" wide group about 4" long, again hand held at 10 yards.

Next time out, I'll try factory 115, 124 and 147, see what the difference is from a rest. 147's did really well in my G19, way back when, kinda why I headed down that route. Besides, I've read good things about the 147 gr HST. As a side note when the government tested the M11, it was with 147 gr, so we'll have to see what this particular Sig likes.

Hand loads don't count!

I've never tried 147gr so I'm curious. Sounds like it would pass my "center mass" test, which is all I really care about anyway.
