Purchased gun for my grandson we were taking turns shooting it. We had Ran about 5 mags through it and it was my turn to shoot. I pulled the trigger 1st round out of that mag I felt stuff hit me in the face gun jammed I looked down to clear it and noticed the extractor gone and slide crack. Guess I will be calling Glock Monday.

Rest of thread on Arfcom

Notes :
1) Not my thread
2) OP said barrel was clear
3) "Winchester ammo"
4) Outdoors, temp 45°
5) Less than 50 rounds through pistol

Sorry Glock, you know I love you but.........polymer ain't ok for slides.

Go back to doing what you do best, and it ain't wasting time on a needless .22LR.

There is a video on YouTube of a guy that had a squib followed by a kaboom in a TX22 and it only bulged the barrel.

Just rubbing that Taurus part in for fun really!

Glocknade back on the menu! This time not limited to older gens with super hot home loaded 40. This time its factory intolerance

There have been reports of first round fail to feed with G44.
Nose up.
One guy speculated that it might have been an out of battery discharge.

Best Internet Guess so far.

Guy is still working on getting CCI to work with Taurus to make repair. However, he actually shoots if after the squib and kaboom and it seems to run still.

^ What this guy said. (Not a Glock fanboy nor a detractor. They put out a good piece. But the 44 seems like, perhaps, a misstep.)
