Our local FB group had over 4,000 users. We were not overtly political but we shared alerts from Oregon Firearms Federation and kept up the information flow about ballet initiatives and reminded people to drop off ballets etc.... We had 4,000 + people who all shared respect for the second amendment locally that we could contact. Now 10 months before a very close election this resource has been just taken away by our political opponents. Similar to how the IRS denied and delayed political groups before the last election. I think they were scared of this political force that had developed nationwide and wanted it taken away. All the more motivation to clean house November.

Is discussion of firearms, 2nd amendment issues, in general being alerted and removed? Or just the selling/buying?

see the link in post #30 for MeWe--- lot of the former FB gun pages have moved to it. They state that you own the content and your post. An alternative to FB. Can't be bad--at least by comparison.

Facebook is very PC and becoming very judgmental
I can code up a facebook type site for a national gun directory
but I sure would hate to go thru all that coding and no one use it because they want the facebook traffic

and ofcourse there would the issue of an annual a few thousand dollars required for a dedicated server

Ah yes, the hypocrisy of the "tolerant" left. Honestly, I really do believe, based on these types of actions, that they are far more 'intolerant' of views other than their own, than they claim conservatives or Republicans are. Just my dos pesos.
