Bloomberg clearly will not stop until the 2A is dead.

His group Everytown for Gun Safety ( which is almost entirely funded just by him ), has been lobbying Facebook to ban all gun sales on the online service for over a year. Well, Bloomberg's group has now succeeded. Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook will immediately put an end to all sales of firearms, gun parts, accessories, and ammunition on Facebook.

While licensed gun dealers will still be allowed to advertise these items on Facebook, they too, will be forbidden from actually transacting sales using Facebook.

In addition to the lobbying pressure put on Facebook by Bloomberg's groups, it is said that President Obama, members of Federal law enforcement, and several state attorney generals all put pressure on Zuckerberg and other Facebook officials to take action. The Federal government reportedly informed Facebook that it was facilitating the illegal sale of guns to not only felons and other prohibited adults, but also to minors too.

The enemies of the 2A remain on the march folks.

I wonder how long it will be, before Bloomberg, Obama, and all of their cronies start to target websites like Northwest Firearms???

I thought they were already banned on Facebook too. I had no idea anyone was conducting gun transactions on there. I'm honestly not surprised, Zuckerberg and his ilk are right in lockstep with their buddies like Bloomberg. Part of the problem is that things like FB seem to only be run by anti-gun blowhards.

That's nothing, in China, FB is monitoring the people's message content and reporting it to the Communist, murdering, government. You can not only get your Facebook account deleted, but you disappear as well.

I would have shut them down in the USA for that.

you are not supposed to sell guns on Craigslist either. But yet I have seen them for sale. I just had a thought. I have not seen any guns on Craigslist since I-594.

I was on like 6 or 7 different face book groups (have been for a couple 4-5 years) that are nothing but gun for sale or trade pages. All but one of them based right here in Oregon. All the pages that were dedicated to firearms sales have just disappeared. There is still a few firearms for sale on other pages that don't look obviously like firearms sale pages.

Yep I just lost 6-7 different firearms for sale pages off Facebook. Oh well there goes a way to make a few deals. Still a few firearms on some of the other for sale pages but the goodie two shoes will catch up to those and that will end soon.

I spoke to soon 3 of the firearms groups I was in on Facebook just changed their names and are still on and still have firearms along with some other stuff for sale. I didn't notice them in my list of groups.

Not sure how this makes the world a safer place , regarding Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms demand Action. ( I know it dosen't , just was venting ... )
But I do know it is one less place we now have one less to sell and trade firearms.
I wish these "Gun Safety" groups would focus on a real solution like offering a free or low cost firearm safety course or a private party version of the NCIS background check for non-FFl dealers on a onetime only sale ...

I would say if people thought FB was not used for sales that would be incorrect.
I am not going to incriminate myself in a forum, I will say that FB does have some of the best
resources that are occurring as we speak. What happens is people join these groups as Antis and then push to get them removed or say they are violent. Once such group which will remain nameless has not changed how they operate since 2012 and this new policy will change nothing.
Its sad when freedom has to be done behind closed doors and in the back woods is the only way.

Whats hilarious is, with the new "law" of a UBC, posting a local ad is perfectly innocent, you havent met the other party, the ad is very public..etc.

If Facebook wasnt filled with socialist bigots they could have done something very innovative,

Think about it like this:
You have a local FFL page, on that page they have a public catolog of whats for sale, they also have consignment items AND they could have private parties list items for sale under their page, this would mean a guy could look up his local FFl, see that a guy not too far away has something for sale and is willing to transfer at THAT FFL location.
All per law and all very public.

Sure there is Armslist and a few others, but some guys starting out may not be hip to all the other sites out there.
Because they didnt take that route, be it liabilit OR what we all already know, (bigotry) it just shows there is in fact a war on the American firearm owner.

I can see the liability aspect especially if the media connects the ad with the two individuals which again is all public so it would in theory drag facebook into it.. But still, Armslist hasnt been sued.. So other than lawyers.. The only other reasoning is prejudice.

Being a trillion dollar business, they are dropping the ball on this.

Also, with impersoanl conglomerates like Google-youtube or Facebook-Instagram when someone is falsy reported.. How can you contact someone to rectify the situation. What if I just post pictures and some bigot reports them? What then? Who can I talk to that'll reactivate my account?

Good thing I dont have hardly any social media accounts. Facebook is one of them. I could care less.
