If there were only school shootings the anti's would be steamrolling us. However their woke policies on prosecuting criminals resulted in crime skyrocketing and people don't feel safe. This is what is hurting the anti gun movement. Another reality is that they won't recognize their failure in this area and will keep on keeping on with their ban all guns philosophy. They will not give up and go away. They have a much larger agenda and disarming the people is just one part of their end game plan.

I doubt it personally. This is 2 sources out of hundreds. I think this is only representative of the first cracks of pragmatism in a sea of idealistic false info. that dominates everything.
Maybe these cracks will become fissures over time but I would look at that personally in maybe a scale of decades. But 100% guessing of course.

As a country, gun control is a stalemate. More in some places, less in others. Eventually people will migrate to the states that suit their politics. You won't be able to buy most kinds of guns in Washington, and you won't be able to find an OB-GYN in Idaho.
But gun control has caused more proliferation of the most "dangerous" guns than just about anything else. AR15s and concealed carry were the 'gift' of the '89 and '94 bans - and liberals are fools to not figure that out.

He referenced several valid points we all know, perhaps the most poignant of which is that a few within the AGM are beginning to recognize the irony of their methods. The fundamental difference between conservative/libertarian beliefs and those more liberal are that the latter are convinced most people are idiots. Outside of a few rural fudds the majority are city dwellers who believe the police will respond to their call in 3 mins, regardless of the overwhelming evidence that is not now or ever the case. Perhaps for a bank or government facility, but Mary Robinson, you're out of luck. IF (big if), the police do happen to arrive while an active event is still ongoing, more often than not, there is still a delay.
Until these people can admit gun control is the wiggly worm that are attracting shooters to their victims, the fight won't end. A compromise in theory would look like, 51% of mass shooters fight their way through a police line to attack unarmed civilians. Or 51% of unarmed homeowners succefully fight off a gang of home invaders. But nothing close to that ever happens. Protected politicians and wealthy contributors, convince the unarmed masses they are evil if they want to defend their families.
