house
A house is a single-unit residential building. It may range in complexity from a rudimentary hut to a complex structure of wood, masonry, concrete or other material, outfitted with plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Houses use a range of different roofing systems to keep precipitation such as rain from getting into the dwelling space. Houses may have doors or locks to secure the dwelling space and protect its inhabitants and contents from burglars or other trespassers. Most conventional modern houses in Western cultures will contain one or more bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen or cooking area, and a living room. A house may have a separate dining room, or the eating area may be integrated into another room. Some large houses in North America have a recreation room. In traditional agriculture-oriented societies, domestic animals such as chickens or larger livestock (like cattle) may share part of the house with humans.
The social unit that lives in a house is known as a household. Most commonly, a household is a family unit of some kind, although households may also be other social groups, such as roommates or, in a rooming house, unconnected individuals. Some houses only have a dwelling space for one family or similar-sized group; larger houses called townhouses or row houses may contain numerous family dwellings in the same structure. A house may be accompanied by outbuildings, such as a garage for vehicles or a shed for gardening equipment and tools. A house may have a backyard or a front yard or both, which serve as additional areas where inhabitants can relax or eat.
Posted a thread a while ago about my neighbors who were renting the house next door and how they absolutely trashed it.
Well, it's been a couple of months and the yard has been cleaned up and the inside was cleaned and re-painted.

This is pretty crazy call from a homeowner who called 911 after his house was broken into. Note that it took a good 10 minutes for police to arrive on scene...during which time the homeowner had to shoot one of the robbers and hide out in his closet. It really solidifies the notion that, "you're...
Got this yesterday from Sen. Sharon Brown
Your 2nd Amendment right under attack

Looking to sell our house and move from Newberg to Oregon City area. Tired of the commute to work near the airport.
We have some high school age kids and Oregon City HS seems highly rated. Anyone live in this area? I really appreciate space and noticed a lot of rural areas around Oregon City...
Well Gang, I am finally the proud owner of a gently used Dillon XL 650. Now, to be honest, I had to buy the house in which it was housed. Really! The wife and I bought a house on the OR Coast after moving to the area recently. In it was contained a pristine Dillon XL650. Wow! I have been...
Texas House Speaker declares 'constitutional carry' gun bill dead after gun-rights activist shows up at his home
Did this Gun Rights activist go to far?
OFF is reporting that Rep. Post has been booted from the House Judiciary Committee. This committee was already stacked in favor of antis. If Rep. Post removal is accurate then we can expect them to run anti-gun bills through at will. Not good news.

Hopefully its better than the Senate last week, where it was just a continuous 4 vs.3 (Move to vote...and it passes...) gun control showcase.
