.44 magnum
The .44 Remington Magnum, or simply .44 Magnum (10.9×33mmR), and frequently .44 Mag, is a large-bore cartridge originally designed for revolvers. After its introduction, it was quickly adopted for carbines and rifles. Despite the ".44" designation, guns chambered for the .44 Magnum round, and its parent, the .44 Special, use 0.429 in (10.9 mm) diameter bullets.
The .44 Magnum is based on a lengthened .44 Special case, loaded to higher pressures for greater velocity (and thus, energy). The .44 Magnum has since been eclipsed in power by the .454 Casull, and most recently by the .460 S&W Magnum and .500 S&W Magnum, among others; nevertheless, it has remained one of the most popular commercial large-bore magnum cartridges. When loaded to its maximum and with heavy, deeply penetrating bullets, the .44 Magnum cartridge is suitable for short-range hunting of all North American game—though at the cost of heavy recoil and muzzle flash when fired in handguns, less so in carbines and rifles.

Up for trade is a Like New In Box(less than 50 rounds fired), in all honesty I wanted this gun for years, researched it for some time but never saw one show up in person at any of the LGS's I frequent until last week. Payed a little more for it than I should but I didn't care at the time...
Ruger Super Black hawk 7.5” barrel with a Simmons 4X32 scope. Comes with basic shoulder holster. 50 rounds of HPR 240 grain TMJ ammo, 40 rounds of Hornady custom 300 grain XTP hollow points, and 10 rounds of shotshell.

One I keep bouncing back to from time to time is a Uberti 1873 in .357 Magnum or, most preferably, .44 Magnum. Of the variants, this one in particular:
I see decent reviews online, but don't know much about them. (The only 1873 I have, albeit quite limited, experience was an original in...

There is no secret that I find pistol caliber carbines and submachine-guns ever so neat-o. We don't have single bolt-action in the battery, being the rifles and carbines are all semi-auto (or select-fire, once ATF approves our latest antics) or lever-action. The Ruger 77/44 looks neat. It...
So, I am finding this has become more and more the "do everything" cartridge at our home. We live in the sticks, so defense could be against two-legged varmints and most species of animals that live in this state, including black bear and wolves. We have a lever-action carbine, a double-action...
So, something we did a couple summers ago was decided on one handgun and one long gun that would be the "primaries" for preparedness purposes that we would do a lot of regular practice with. I went with a SBRed/suppressed AR for the long gun and a Model 29 for the handgun. The revolver just...
So - I was in the local gun shop recently, and they had a 5” S&W 629 Classic on display.
I like 5” revolvers with a full underlug - they feel perfectly balanced in my hand.
And, since I don’t currently have anything in.44 magnum (and we occasionally have a black bear on our place), and...
So, we're making plans to visit a friend in northern California in the coming weeks. She lives in a fairly remote, picturesque rural area, and not one of the decaying urban sprawls. Naturally, I would want to have a firearm or two on the trips. I know CCW is a no-go, almost anything NFA (sans...

Willing to work a trade for 10mm Glock. May ask for cash as well depending on the model. Looking for 20SF, 20 Gen4 or 40 MOS.
Gun is perfect. Has seen very little use. 32 rounds fired through it.
I live on the north coast. I'm willing to travel to FFL of...
Kind of a neat-o setup. But I like all things .44 Magnum and suppressed, so "together at last" :s0110:, and therefore not surprising. Anyway, just passing it along for the grins.
So, I am looking for a couple leather cartridge belts. (The kind that goes around a waist, not loaded into a machine-gun.) The purpose is to securely carry .38 Special and .44 Magnum cartridges when packing a lever-action carbine chambered in said. I'm find a bunch of false positives whilst...
