Would you pay $6000.00 for a custom m&p?

Cost is relative. For someone making $500,000/year, it takes them about 25 hours of work (about 3 days) to pay for a $6000 handgun.

For someone making $40,000/year, it takes 312 hours of work to do the same (roughly 2 months). Of course that's assuming they have no other bills to pay for.

If I had $6k to blow on a dumb firearm purchase it would be for a Nemesis Arms Vanquish 308 bolt rifle not a pimped handgun.

I think I'd blow all $6k on just ammo...

PPL that spend 6K on a pistol may well be taken down by a low-info type w/a Moisen from 100 yards. A pistol is a personal defense firearm, no matter what Shwartzenaggar says

there are a whole different class of people out there who spend incredible amounts on guns, not machine guns, or assault weapons, but works of art. Guns that have history, legacy and are worthy of being hierlooms.
