Thank you for the update, that's an upper I've been eying.
All honesty… I always replace flash hider anyway but this one was threaded poorly and installed with some brown grease from manufacturer. The flash hider was more difficult to get off than any other I've encountered. But once off… barrel threads perfect so I don't know what was going on… normally I save factory parts but this went in garbage. I've also had to file to fit…. Charging handle plug on last 2 uppers which is fine for tight fit but just extra work considering I'm installing on Aero M5 lower as they suggest. And in general…. BCA uppers all always over gassed and I've always purchased an adjustable gas block for these from BCA… minor things considering initial cost. It's a good foundation to start with and all barrels have been nice for me. No broken components in any of my side charging uppers from them. Again as I get time I'll update my follow up post. I'm a fan….. and 22-250 friggin screams out the gun… first velocities 3400 with mid range powders pushing 55 grn. All once or twice fired brass. So yeah

If drinking and ordering stuff I don't need qualifies as an impulse buy then my latest is a Criterion Core 13.9 barrel and 13" Triarc wedgelock rail. Haven't been delivered yet but pic is generally what the upper will look like.

Good thing you don't live in california (lowercase on purpose), because there's stuff that can cause cancer on the surface only if you live within their stupid borders, LOL.
Oh yeah id be effed if i lived in cali. I work in construction and basically all building materials cause cancer in californians. Plus California sucks.

Bought a Glock 45 off a guy because... well because it was a "can't say no" priced deal. With ammo. I didn't need what must be my 12th Glock in the safe and at LEAST the 7th 9mm Glock but man when it comes with 250 rounds for free...

I have had my eye out for a Glock17L for a while. Don't own any other Glocks, so I thought I would want one that is a bit silly to start with. Finally found one posted in the classifieds and was able to snag it. Defenatly an impulse buy as I don't need it, just seemed like a neat add to the collection. Now if someone asks if I have a Glock I have something special to show them. Kind of like a Honda with gull wing doors.
