The stuff of God. Nearly as useful as duct tape, and it looks way way better on a rifle!

For a long time the handguard was wrapped in paracord, before I got the rail covers. Naked rails were just uncomfortable to hold. For now that paracord wrapping passes as a cheap sling mount. It gets the job done, anyway... I love the stuff though. One of my bootlaces is made from it.

Here's my AR, upper is a 16" barrel with a mid-length gas system by CMMG and the lower is Anvil Arms. I have a black mesa logo engraving because I'm a nerd like that. Other than that, it's pretty standard looking from the outside, but I have all the goodies on the inside. Chrome-lined 1:7 twist barrel, M4 feed ramps, MP tested barrel and bolt, parkerizing before installation of FSB, and a full auto bolt carrier.

Some fancy incendiary ammo and a stripper clip of tracers. And a kiwi.

Ready to take out some headcrabs!


Hopefully sometime I will have the $ to put an aimpoint or eotech on it.
