Just got back from Jones creek (Washougal) 1,500 feet no wind, rain or snow on the ground, not even cold enough to need gloves. Was a great day of shooting.

Long Range Target shooting in the woods is very fun & relaxing for me. It's a Zen thing.

The snow makes it difficult or impossible to reach my favorite shooting sights.
That makes me sad.

I read that the forestry department has already begun locking gates also, because of "dangerous road conditions", Uh-Ha.

This is sad because I really need to have a break from things like 114.

That is frustrating as we can shoot once the gates get open because it's now trails and civilians tromping around or it's fire season. The only time we can shoot outdoors in the winter and maybe the fall if the wildfires didn't wreck it for us.
