But then, I recently went to a Monster Jam at the Rose Garden and it was 100% airport-type security with all people going through a metal detector and pocket stuff going through a machine.

I actually carried in POM o.c. spray which the detector beeped at, but I played dumb when the wand was beeping at my waist line and they let me through finally.

Ron Tonkin Field has metal detectors and wands. Usually the detector beeps and you are waved through, but a few days ago they told me to leave my gun in the car, "and that goes for your knife too."
