I'm sorry for the weird first post lol I'm on many threads getting advice but I've contacted friends from the force and said it's all on timing whenever he actually carry his illegal firearmThat's quite a first post for a brand new member. At the risk of sounding like a complete jerk, the story sounds fishy.
If it isn't, and your family legitimately has a problem, "untraceable" firearms are now illegal and are a felony. Your best bet is to contact to the police and file a police report and a restraining order.
Good luck.
That's the best first step advice to be given ^^^^^As far as the firearm community goes, the recommendation in a situation like this is to file a restraining order. Depending on your location, if your family member doesn't already own a firearm, they may not be able to purchase one or get a CHL in a timely fashion. The most important part is that if your family member has never fired a firearm, without training, the firearm would likely be used against them.
Good luck.
