Kale, much like tofu, is NOT food. :D

And that, my friend, is something we can agree on.

Yes I have, they exist separately but side by side and are owned by the same parent corp. But their menus do NOT cross paths, You get a taco or a burrito or whatever, not a taco or burrito with a drumstick in the center.

IMO bad analogy Badger man.
No, but you totally can. I suggest asking for a famous bowl, but with chips instead of potatoes. They will totally do it and it will change your life.

I don't have a clue about that. But you know, a kale diet would change my life.... I'd be skinny in about 3 weeks! ;):)

agree
I was a 'dedicated social worker' early in my state-employee career, assigned to the 'child protection unit'.(Think 50+ years ago.)

We had multiple calls from neighbors, several uniformed LEO reports of recent prior behavior, and WE were sent out as the 'low impact spear tip' to extract the children, all 4 of them below 6 years old, at least 1 in diapers. The (admittedly abused themselves) women were drunk but things were progressing adequately. Almost made it to the vehicles with the kids & a minimal of screeching & yelling from the moms, when the drunk/high/mostly absent fathers showed up in a foul mood. In short order the LEO escorting US called for back up, so things were hot & heavy for a while.

We even had to call our supervisor for extra help. Situation was bad enough with only alcohol & the moms. Add the 'dominant males' & their own substance & anger issues....I don't know how it would have ended with today's protocols.:cool:

I can remember that time when.......
I was told (by CPSU-emergency) to remove a newly born child from a household. The reasoning was: The family had the two previous children removed for abuse and this newly born child was probably also in danger next.

Rrrright...... and the warrant and/or the papers for the hearing?

So then......if I walked away w/o the baby and the baby later died?

Aloha, Mark

PS.....not to mention the times, when a child is/was supposed to go for "visitation." But the custodial parent caused trouble by not "helping" the situation at all. No drugs or alcohol involved. Just not wanting to be co-operative with the court's order. Maybe, all visitation transfers should occur in a court session? HA, Ha, ha.....

"They know....NOTHING!"

Anyway, I have no problem accepting diff demographics into the gun owning community.

As to the welcome they get, well, people will always be people. And in general a society abhors that which can be identified as "different". It's sometimes unfortunate that the book gets judged by the cover. Sometimes.

IMO it is also on the ones that want to be "different" to be forgiving of others jumping to first impressions/conclusions.

Let's all be nice to each other until it's proven that somebody is not a good egg.
