I wonder if he is paying for his own attorney, using a public defender, or getting legal services provided by one of the 2nd amendment orgs? Anyone happen to know?
Hmmm. IF, repeat IF, what the witnesses say is true...Kirby was a little off base. It appears, repeat appears, he is a hard core Open Carry Advocate...which is okay. But, again, IF he was "playing like Wyatt Earp" then I think he was overdoing it.
It appears, his agenda for the day was to make a point of open carry. It was reported that he participated in an open carry rally of some type several days before.
I support the rights of folks to open carry...although I do not do so myself. But when folks carry, open or otherwise, they have a responsibility to do so prudently.
.
Sir, look at my previous post and listen to the 911 tapes. Doesn't sound like he was acting like Wyatt Earp. Is acting like Wyatt Earp a crime? (remember Earp was a lawman) and if it is a crime can you recite the RCW?
He was not at an open carry rally, where do you come up with this information. It was 70 degrees in Vancouver that day and the day before. He took off his jacket because it was warm. He was at the mall the day before and asked to cover up his firearm.
Listen to the 911 tape.

Dispatch: Is he using it in an aggressive manner?
Caller: No, No, No, No, but it's not concealed in any way. It's completely exposed, so whether he's licensed or not it's an exposed gun.
WTF!?!
Call the witness to the stand. I want to see this idiot.
I see no problem in any way with open carry...............
BUT..............
Know you will get the same treatment as this man did.
There are enough left wing hysterics that I would almost guarantee you will get the same treatment almost anywhere in a metro area that is as far left as most of the larger cities in Oregon and Washington.. I won't even
bring up the Beijing state to the south.
If subjecting yourself to this is what you want to do...........not much can be said. Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Idaho... There are not all the little socialist/communists to give you grief, although they have their share too.
Here, you just have headaches and expenses trying to make your point.
Well, I carry in downtown Seattle all the time with no problems.
Good, but......
ie; you forgot to add "yet" wait til the first anti-nutcase calls .... when you have the ability to carry concealed, it seems a little maschochistic to open carry................ I hate paying lawyers anything You could buy 15 or 20 new firearms with what it costs for even a simple court case <?logic?>
