Well I may not be a run n gun fellow but a brisk walk at breakneck speed will surely get my heart rate up....

Me too!!! But any walk does it to me. Just getting up to get some water or let the dog out.

At my IDPA club matches, we practice a lot of "heel/toe" walking... sights up, shooting without stopping the walk (I really have a hard time with that), not letting the sights bounce off target during double/triple taps while walking, continuing the scan, and use of cover.

I really liked that guy's story. My takeaway was this; keep mags loaded and in a pouch for easy access.

And I have a pair of slip on Tactical flip-flops next to the safe just in case you need to go mobile....
