I'll start - I was long ago given a High Standard 'Sentinel' M-103 .22 cal revolver.
It wasn't until much later I learned the history of this gun and how it's designer, Harry Sefreid, eventually went to work for Ruger and helped develop the 10-22.
These guns have an interesting history and part of it is Sears & Roebuck once owned stock in High Standard and it was offered as their original 'J. C. Higgins' line of guns. Cool stuff.
